I agree - Bush is progressing the lefts agenda much quicker than they could've on their own. If he continues to propose new spending, he could have a very difficult time!

There is no way to tell at this point.

Bush will have a HUGE advantage in money regardless of who the Dem candidate is.

Some folks say it's to Bush's advantage to be able to coast while the Dems beat each other to a pulp. But the way I see it, the Dem candidate will have had over a year to get sharp and tough.

It's still Bush's election to lose.

I agree. Over optimism runs rampant at FR. The Bush people keep insisting it's going to be close, so it appears they've got that part right at least. I'm not confident they know how to run the right kind of campaign though. I think Bush may try to run another "Mr. Nice Guy" passive campaign and not try to couterpunch.
