I have to hand it to the people in Iowa.

They went for electability and not the rhetoric.

But, Iowa does not mean much.

These guys don't seem like idiots to me, even though its fun to make fun of them. I'll take them over condescending NYCity liberals, which is where I live.

Haven't you seen him next to a normal sized person in the news, LOL? But I think Dean might make him look taller.

This may be democracy in action, but it sure is messy. We have WORK to do letting people know that what you see and hear in Edwards is not what they'll get.

"2. Dean will be very angry on the campaign stump in New Hampshire. Think he's been angry so far? You ain't seen nothin' yet."

Either that or he's burnt out (that might take a loss at NH, though). Considering how he was taking his slide in the polls before, what happens next WILL NOT BE PRETTY (funny maybe, but not pretty).

From here on out, Dean could either completely implode or stumble off somewhere to die.

Southerners don't need a southerner on the ticket. Bush will win BIG in NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, TN. Florida and Louisiana are another story. Could be close there.

From MRC on FR now:

Public Radio Listeners for Kerry. Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry has been most successful at getting donations from Zip codes a demographic analysis firm dubs the "Young Digerati," where residents “listen to National Public Radio, drive Saabs, live in condos on the edge of cities,” the Washington Post’s Thomas Edsall and Sarah Cohen reported on Saturday.

A Kerry Edwards ticket would make it interesting, but Bush/Cheney could still beat them easily.

Nobody gives a whit about you Godebert. Sorry. You're a flake. You didn't vote for Bush in 2000, most of the other howler monkeys around here didn't either. Ergo, your vote won't be missed in 2004.

You've got no standing. No leverage.

But: He has to campaign. He can't make the mistake his father did.

If Bush's campaigning in 2002 is an indication...we're in good shape.

Listen to the governor of Iowa; he said flat out that ALL THEY ARE INTERESTED IN IS WHO CAN BEAT BUSH

It is time for US to come together and IGNORE those in our own party who would tear US apart and GIVE this country back to these idiots!

Not sure what is the funniest thing about all this. The sight of Dean getting his a** handed to him, or that guys like Gore and Harkin shot their load on a loser!! This should at least mean any further remarks from their mouths are irrelevant.
