The President had a very busy day today, leaving this morning for New Orleans, Louisiana, appearing first at a roundtable discussion on faith-based initiatives, then at Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where he spoke to faith based and community leaders, and finally at a fundraising luncheon at the National D Day Museum.
He then traveled to Atlanta, Georgia where, accompanied by Coretta Scott King and King's daughter, Christine King Ferris, he placed a wreath on the tomb of Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 75th birthday, and this evening is at a fundraiser this evening with Democrat, Zell Miller, who will be campaigning for the Presidents reelection this year (Go, Zell!)
Enjoy this MUCH needed visit to Sanity Island as you revel in your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Speaking of Aldork, we should now call him "Alpork"!
Did you see how much he's bulked up? Wowser, really hefty. I can't wait to see how much his wife tips the scales at these days. (Sly joke there, just to let you know it was on purpose!)
I won't ruin the thread with a pic of him - so go here to see it for yourselves.

Great picture. Too bad the protestors against GWB's visit can't be as gracious as Mrs. King.

This is definitely a saver

Alpork's picture looks like someone I'd never believe, never trust, and never buy anything from. At least he lost the beard. That is a slight improvement. Not that I'd even want to look at him if I had a choice.

It must really irritate the leftists to have the President so obviously admired by a 'group' that's supposed to hate him.
The problem with the left is exactly what Condi Rice said.......she's an individual, and not just part of a group..........which is why she's a Republican!

Oh, too funny. I keep having trouble getting off the front page of the Dose - all those "right clicks" to save the pics. I finally saved off last year's to a CD - made a LOT more room on my PC.
Some others on here should think about doing that....hint, hint.

I agree about todays speech. When he speaks from the heart
no notes, he really comes across. This is what the dems and
the Euros can't stand because they can't speak from the heart nor no homesty in them.
BTW baseballmom the Padres are opening their new ballpark in April, downtown by the bay. We are ready for Baseball.

Bawhahahhaha...the liberal media whores kept saying HUNDREDS were there protesting..OH REALLY?? Seem like a handful only! DAMN LYING BASTARDS! And to the contrary, L.King looks like she enjoyed W's presence there. A big stink was made that she was peed because W was there at the grave-site!
To: RoseofTexas
I've seen the President with Coretta before. They really LIKE each other.
And I agree.....those 'hundreds' of protesters didn't even number 30 from the pictures I saw.
