The President had a very busy day today, leaving this morning for New Orleans, Louisiana, appearing first at a roundtable discussion on faith-based initiatives, then at Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where he spoke to faith based and community leaders, and finally at a fundraising luncheon at the National D Day Museum.
He then traveled to Atlanta, Georgia where, accompanied by Coretta Scott King and King's daughter, Christine King Ferris, he placed a wreath on the tomb of Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 75th birthday, and this evening is at a fundraiser this evening with Democrat, Zell Miller, who will be campaigning for the Presidents reelection this year (Go, Zell!)
Enjoy this MUCH needed visit to Sanity Island as you revel in your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

CBS REJECTS ANTI-BUSH SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL
Ad Age ^ | January 15, 2004 | Ira Teinowitz
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1058828/posts WASHINGTON (AdAge.com) -- Viacom's CBS today rejected a request from liberal group MoveOn to air a 30-second anti-President Bush ad during the Super Bowl, saying the spot violated the network's policy against running issue advocacy advertising.
Network policy A CBS spokesman said the decision against broadcasting the spot had nothing to do with either the Super Bowl or the ad's specific issue but was because the network has had a long-term policy not to air issue ads anywhere on the network.
A MoveOn spokesperson said the group hopes to appeal the decision within CBS.
Produced as a personal project by Charlie Fisher, creative director of the Copenhagen, Denmark, office of Publicis Groupe ad agency Leo Burnett, the spot is critical of the Bush administration's fiscal policies.
Anti-Bush contest MoveOn is airing a 60-second version the commercial, which was selected through a contest calling for anti-Bush ads, in advance of President Bush's State of the Union address Jan. 20. The group has purchased $300,000 worth of air time on Time Warner's CNN that starts Jan. 17 and runs through Jan. 21.

The snow missed me completely! (I'm glad, because I'm hoping to visit with the grandkids tomorrow if they're all over their sniffles. My daughter's going to phone when she gets off work around 11 tonight, so I won't know 'til then. I haven't talked with her since around 6am yesterday morning, so I'm anxious for the update. Kids heal fast. I'm counting on that!)

Have you read/heard about his panic attacks, on the day he became Govenor of VT?
PANIC ATTACKS?
With all that our President has had to deal with since 2000, can we afford to even THINK about electing a man who admits he suffers from panic attacks, and still "takes stuff" to sleep?
Ladies and Gentlemen, he just killed his candidacy.
