TV or Not TV: That Is the Question
"In my family, when we were little, television was somewhat of a bonding experience. When we were young my father was very busy, he came home late every night and he didn't see us much. But when he came home, we'd watch The Three Stooges together, Abbott and Costello. We thought that was just terrific stuff. We'd just sit there and watch it together."--Howard Dean, interview with People magazine, Jan. 8
"In general, I'm not a fan of TV. I grew up without a TV."--Howard Dean, same interview

LOL!

Dean is such a liar. Send this one to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and the RNC, for them to use as fodder for future campaign commercials.

Ole Dean knows that among likely Dem voters it is popular to avoid television or pretend to dislike it (though it seems Dems get their politics from Norman Leer, Oprah, and the Leftward trendy Hollywood set). He also knows that everyone Left and Right likes the Three Stooges. He is making such an effort to be all things to all people even parading out his "faith tradition" (to use Gore's phrase) when it seems to be the political thing to do.

Even when he lies, he lies! I'm pretty sure you couldn't watch Three Stooges reruns during the late evening prime times that he said was when his dad would get home... Or was his dad coming home in the mid-afternoon from his Wall Street job?

He's beginning to remind me of Gore...

Wow. He saw Abbott & Costello without a TV! Must be that Channel 8 he was talking about because A&C was on Channel 9. If you used a television.
The man's on Channel 8.
