if he has a cell phone, call him.
To: Jim Noble
have you tried calling him a cellphone?
I passed over this to pick up school kids....before EMT/fire were at the scene....horrible. I don't know if your son could be at that point an hour after crossing the bridge.....but he might be stuck in a major traffic jam.

What's really weird about all of this is that earlier in the day there were two overturned Tractor Trailers(propane for one, not sure about other) that closed down i-83 and parts of York Road, both of these locations are just a couple miles north of Baltimore.

More traffic cams, but it's moving like molasses.....

"Have you noticed that since 9-11, many of the suspicious truck and bus accidents are at or on overpasses and bridges?
9/11 has nothing to do with those accidents.

I drove through about 1 mile N of the scene just after it happened....felt like I was driving into armageddon...called my neighbor to have her check local news to see if a bomb had gone off.

MSNBC just had some video. Fire looks to be out, and best they can tell it looks like it involved just 1 truck and a 'white sedan'.WJZ 13 showing what they say are burned out trailers from two other trucks other than the tanker. Now saying the 895 overpass may be compromised. Will require extensive analysis to be declared safe.

sounds series, hugh even
Can we just have the mods put a script in place that will simply insert this assenine reply in every thread on the board? It will save a lot of time and bandwidth.

Just a thought, but all these accidents closed down both Major Arteries leading out of the Baltimore area.

Good, hope it is limited and put out quickly.

come on this is for real Well let me make a mental note to set my hair on fire and run screaming around the house next time something bad happens in the world.
I know it is real, and I Pray for all involved -- but lighten up a little. Don't take everything 110% serious every second and you will live longer.
I was just posting the standard FR lines whenever something big occurs.

Highway closed in both directions at Interstate 195

A tanker truck and several automobiles collided and the truck burst into flames around 3 p.m. this afternoon in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Howard County near the Baltimore County line.
Police were unable to say whether anyone was hurt because firefighters were too busy trying to extinguish the blaze, which engulfed several vehicles and spread into woods and a field next to the highway.
A tanker truck could be seen on television spraying foam over the blackened highway. Traffic was stopped in both directions and backed up in both directions for miles.
The State Highway Administration said highway crews are working on setting up a detour.
Television pictures showed charred and twisted metal wheels and an axle that appeared to be the wheels of a tractor-trailer.

yes. this is something for homeland security to watch, even though the odds are low, shutting down major access roads to cities is actually quite easy. and when events seem to occur together, although likely a coincidence, it bears watching.

Did it ever occur to you in your haste to post a joke about a big explosion and fire that persons might have been killed or injured?

Nope never occured to me once. I am cold and callous like that.
Whatever happened to levity to help release the tension of a possibly horrible situation?

Can we please blame terrorists????It's not the terrorist's fault. IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!!!! Why, you ask? The tanker was loaded with fuel! Probably driven by a non-union driver, to boot.
