probably not terror related. but I have always felt that if there was going to be a domestic attack, it would be trivial to crash a couple of tanker trucks on major arteries to divert police attention and cause panic with regards to evacuation.

Eyewitness said collision, but idiot reporters are failing to have him elaborate.
To: Orbiting_Rosie's_Head
are we sure its not a plane from BWI that has crashed onto the road?

No plane. It was a tanker truck explosion.
To: Orbiting_Rosie's_Head
No doubt attacked by a vicious SUV. I hope the people escaped.

Have you noticed that since 9-11, many of the suspicious truck and bus accidents are at or on overpasses and bridges?
I caught it quite awhile ago and all the "strange accidents" tie up the ramps on the freeways.

My son is southbound on 95-crossed Delaware Bridge about an hour ago.
Updates, please.

Not surprising. My experiences with I-95 is that most people driving on it believe 95 is the speed limit.

Summary coming up now. Tanker was a gasoline truck. Huge explosion. Not clear how accident happened, 2-3 other trucks and some cars involved. Happened right at the I-895 overpass. I-895 and I-95 closed. Foam trucks from BWI putting out fires. Brush fires everywhere.

Man, that is not good. Sure to be casualties. There was one like this in Florida probably close to 10 years ago--tanker truck on train tracks and the thing was hit and exploded and it incinerated several cars in front and behind it instantly. Terrible stuff.

MSNBC just had some video. Fire looks to be out, and best they can tell it looks like it involved just 1 truck and a 'white sedan'.
