...Recently, my hometown newspaper featured a front page article by none other than a muslim professor teaching at our local college. His article, of course, was against the war in Iraq and was anti-American. I just shuddered because I know 90% of the people in our town disagree with everything he said and everything he stands for but few will say anything because of political correctness. Also, his status as a professor protects him. Homeland security had better be monitoring EVERY mideast "professional" who has come to this country over the past 30 years. This is war and it is here.

"Moderate Muslims" at MPACUK rage, froth about Zionism
It sure seems as if raging, frothing, obsessive types, flinging wild charges without evidence, and simultaneously claiming the moral high ground, are coming out of the woodwork these days. Here are yet more: The Muslim Public Affairs Council of the United Kingdom (MPACUK), which styles itself "the UK's Leading Muslim civil liberties group, empowering Muslims to focus on non-violent Jihad and political activism."
But MPACUK doesn't seem so moderate in "Masajid and ISOCs Silent As Zionists Move In On Inayat Bunglawala!," a hysterical article about the Little Green Footballs death threat brouhaha (about which the latest update here). This expands in a big way upon Bunglawala's own piece of paranoid conspiracy-mongering as he denied that he sent the death threat: "Methinks some Zionists are up to mischief." Comments (44) "The mask of Islam is melting and only the lame and impotent will stand behind it."

I really think there is enough here now for a major news outlet to publish this. This Bungawala is a regular on British television and is part of the governments program to be inclusive with muslims. The fact that he isn't being keel hauled through the tabloids is a disgrace. |

Earlier this week, Canada's spy service admitted it couldn't track down many domestic terror suspects, and warned that the country faced an increasing threat from "home-grown terrorists" who are assimilated into society.
Jack Hooper, deputy director of operations at CSIS, said the service was trying to keep track of "350 high-level targets" as well as 50 to 60 organizations thought to be linked to groups such as al-Qaeda.

In addition, I was in Houston a couple of weeks ago and saw that the Muslims had bought a large, imposing (Classical columns, etc.) courthouse downtown and turned it into an "Islamic Dawa (conversion) Center," according to the banner hanging over the front.
This is being paid for by Saudi and Gulf money. They are simply putting the infrastructure in place for their takeover.

Europe faces a similar situation, and now the question will be whether the US has something brewing in its mosques as well. Contrary to the official explanation, there is a strong indication that the explosive substance TATP (triacetone triperoxide), also known as the Mother of Satan and a homemade and very unstable explosive was used in this blast. This is the same substance used by "the despondent" Joel Henry Hinnrichs outside of the Oklahoma University stadium on October 1, 2005 - a blast that was ruled as a "suicide" and unrelated to terrorism.
If people don't think we have illegal crossings from Canada as well, they are SORELY mistaken. And thus far, that border has been the choice of the ROP.

No mention of a US Marine massacre - but a bloody firefight!
Note also that the article is based on a mixture of eye-witness acount and info from the US forces - according to other sources on the net I've read there was an immediate retration and correction regarding the fact that civilians had been killed by the IED.
However, the important point to note - the photographer notes "bodies had been left lying in the street for hours after the attack".

The Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security service is checking a claim that an Israeli citizen was abducted Saturday night in Nablus. Fatah activists sent a tape to the Reuters News Agency, claiming it shows an Israeli, Benjamin Bright Fishbein, of Jerusalem. The videotape released to the international media shows Fishbein holding up his identity card and broadcasts a statement in Arabic that his kidnappers will kill him if Israel does not release jailed Arab terrorists. The PA security forces subsequently handed the American over to the Israel Defense Forces. Defense officials believe once the militants discovered the person was indeed an American citizen, they took steps to end the matter quickly.

I'm glad he is dead too but I wouldn't be praising it in front of my child as you have. Social services should visit your home. On your Kennedy theory and stolen elections. Maybe they were both stolen. However Kennedy was a great president and Bush can't complete a sentence without screwing up. Bush will go down in history as one of the 3 worst presidents of all time. You should be ashamed of praising anyones death in front of your child or grandchild.

Zarqawi Said Beaten To Death By Witness Who Could Not Have Seen It
The AP has caused quite a stir today by publishing an uncorroborated account by a supposed eyewitness to the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The witness, identified as Mohammed, says that Americans beat and stomped Zarqawi until blood flowed from his nose and he died:
The Iraqi, identified only as Mohammed, said he lives near the house where al-Zarqawi was killed. He said residents put a bearded man in an ambulance before U.S. forces arrived. "When the Americans arrived they took him out of the ambulance, they beat him on his stomach and wrapped his head with his dishdasha, then they stomped on his stomach and his chest until he died and blood came out of his nose," Mohammed said, without saying how he knew the man was dead.
Interesting. Of course, Reuters reported earlier tonight that the house could not be seen from any of the local houses, screened off from the roads and other dwellings by the palm groves that hid it from prying eyes:
[T]he house where al-Zarqawi last lived was extremely isolated. It was surrounded by thick palm groves that hid it from mud and cement houses a few hundred yards away. The site is also well hidden from the main road 400 yards away, which cuts through lush green flatlands.
Finding it must have required precise intelligence. The U.S. military has spoken of a painstaking process, including human sources and electronic surveillance, that led them to the house.
So picture this mission as the Americans and Iraqis on the ground must have conceived it. They need to attack a well-hidden house in the middle of a palm grove in Baquba in a way that ensures the occupants cannot escape if the bombing fails to kill them. They know exactly where this house is, drop two bombs on it -- and then wait around for the locals to rush into a house they cannot see to dig the bodies out? And having done that, the American soldiers then get around to arriving on scene without any concern about whether their quarry may have escaped, pull Zarqawi out of an ambulance where he is secured, and beat him to death in front of the witnesses?
Uh-huh.
The logistics of the site appear determinative that the residents of the village could not have seen any of what transpired at the safe house. The sequence of events show that the US had timed their raid for maximum security and efficiency, and that the ground forces of Iraqi and American troops would have acted immediately to secure this very remote site to ensure no one escaped. The AP apparently didn't read the Reuters description of the attack site before publishing this uncorroborated account of a supposed atrocity.
Is the AP now in the business of reporting anything anyone says about any event without doing some rudimentary investigation first? We call that gossip, not news, and we expect better than a National Enquirer standard at the AP.

"Special police team keeps track on radical Islamist: report"
From yesterday’s post about the incident on a Gaza beach that left an indeterminate number of Palestinians dead or wounded (“indeterminate” because there have been so many conflicting reports on the number of victims we don’t know which one to trust) :
It’s incredibly common for Palestinian terrorists to put civilians (and especially children) in harm’s way as “cover” for attacks, then exploit the inevitable accidents to the hilt for their propaganda benefit.
And here we see the “exploiting to the hilt” part, courtesy of AP Palestinian propagandist Sarah El Deeb: Girl becomes sign of Palestinian mourning.
Footage of the 10-year-old screaming “Father! Father!” has played over and over again on television, driving home the devastating impact of what Palestinian leaders are calling “genocidal” and “a war crime.”

Jeez! Typical Paliwood! I've seen news footage today of faked soccer injuries that look more convincing. BTW, slightly OT, I just starting reading John Stossel's new book Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity : Get Out the Shovel--Why Everything You Know is Wrong. What a wake-up call! If I were emperor of the US, I'd make every citizen sit down and read this book from end to end, then flog the next person who complains about pesticides in their food or schools being underfunded. Read this book and you'll never believe another gaddamned thing you hear on the news ever again. |

Many of the regime's guards and agents were dressed in plain-clothes and passed themselves off as demonstrators until they began to attack and beat the protestors. They had batons, tear and pepper gases as well as all kinds of other chemical agents that make people sick and disables their breathing and vision which was continuously launched into the crowd. The regime's new tactic in their so-called attempt at a "kinder, gentler" way of treating protestors is to send out armed, green-clad female thugs and have them beat women demonstrators. The green outfits (as seen in photos) with nun-like hijabs connect in one piece to the rest of the shapeless shroud.

THE LIE LIVES ON
On June 3, I called attention to a false photo in the Times of London that purported to show victims of Haditha slaughtered by US Marines. The photo was of fishermen executed in a Haditha stadium by terrorists six months before the Nov. 19 incident under investigation by the US military.
On June 6, I called attention to the use of that same false photo by the Chicago Sun-Times.
On June 7, I reported that the Sun-Times had apologized.
But as I said of the London Times' apology, "some smears aren't so easy to take back--especially when the image is as searing and damning as the bloody image the Times wrongly attributed to our Marines. Despite the correction, the image has been burned into the public memory."
Now, the false image has been used again. This appeared today on--surprise, surprise--the website of Al Jazeera Publishing (which is a Dubai company separate from the TV station):
"Shameless liars." Look in the mirror, propagandists, and retract this bull.
