...Recently, my hometown newspaper featured a front page article by none other than a muslim professor teaching at our local college. His article, of course, was against the war in Iraq and was anti-American. I just shuddered because I know 90% of the people in our town disagree with everything he said and everything he stands for but few will say anything because of political correctness. Also, his status as a professor protects him. Homeland security had better be monitoring EVERY mideast "professional" who has come to this country over the past 30 years. This is war and it is here.

Robert, why do you care what the Left says? The Left is the enemy. Of course they are going to spin this their way. They don't want anybody warning the world abou the muslim menace, because the muslims are their agents in their attempt to destroy Judeo-Christian Western society.

Notice how the Left, like the daily kos, never has a bad word to say about terrorists, muslims, islam, genital mutiliation, or anything else associated with the enemey. Nothing. They never poke fun at terrorists, never talk bad about terrorists, never demean or disparage terrorists. Never. Not once.

The Left is more the enemy that all the jihadists combined, Robert. Without the Left, the islamic threat could not be a threat. Only the Left holds it together, keeps it alive, defends it, and sustains it. Only the Left provides lawyers for it. Only the Left provides protests for it. They never protest against it.

After the Beslan massacre, I told several of my friends that a school bus filled with American children would be a perfect hostage vehicle/situation for propaganda-savvy terrorists. The media imagery alone would be priceless, with terrified children and parents, seemingly paralyzed first-responders, and the media engaged in an inevitable orgy of self-promotion.

I cannot be the only person to have thought of this, but let's hope those that are evaluating this as a warning take it very seriously.

Kos scoffs at Saudi school bus story

This is unusual: the illustrious Markos Moulitsos Zuniga has been showing up on my Referrers list. He (or to be precise, a "Dave Johnson" from another site, quoted at Kos) is making fun of all of us silly anti-jihad sites for taking note of the Saudi bus story.

The Kos original is filled with links to various anti-jihad sites. Jihad Watch is linked at "OH MY GOD!!!!" I think that's somewhat ironic, given that there is nothing hysterical or ranting about my original post. I just asked a few questions...Comments (76)

Islamasoft Solutions has a downloadable qur'an (Pickthall translation) as well as hadith software. Both are searchable. Unfortunately, the latter does not include Ishaq. Nonetheless, it does include the more accepted collections, enough of them to give one a pretty clear impression of their brutish, megalomaniacal "prophet". I came across the Hilali-Khan version online. 10 Qur’an translations

For most people, the Beltway-area sniper case is a distant memory. Over and done. But in Montgomery County, Md., the pain and suffering caused by convicted killing spree murderers Lee Malvo and John Muhammad is as fresh and raw as it was three years ago when the pair terrorized the area--leaving 10 dead and three injured in their wake.

At the time, I covered two main aspects of the story that were underplayed by the MSM--Lee Malvo's illegal alien catch-and-release story and Nation of Islam convert Muhammad and Malvo's Muslim hate-mongering. Snide MSM'ers and the CAIR propagandists attacked those of who called these thugs what they are: terrorists.

This week, the snipers faced off against each other during Muhammad's trial for six of the murders in Montgomery County. Muhammad is serving as his own lawyer. On the witness stand, Malvo revealed the chilling details of just how much terror the Muslim pair sought to inflict in this community--from bombings to mass murder of children and pregnant women to the random slaying of six white people a day for 30 days.

Via the NYSun:  "...a two-phase plan to shoot as many as six random people each day for 30 days in the Washington area and then target children and police officers with explosives. They planned to place explosives on school buses in Baltimore, kill a Baltimore police officer, and then set off explosives packed with ball bearings at the officer's funeral."

The Montgomery County Gazette adds this detail from the testimony: And the Telegraph fills in more in its report, " The sniper's plan: kill six whites a day for 30 days:"

And what kind of indoctrination would Muhammad and Malvo's army have received to prepare them for their terrorist assaults on American cities? Hint: Try a six-letter word that starts with "M" and ends with "M." The jailhouse drawings of Malvo are worth a thousands words. I've dug up a few from the Wayback Machine to refresh your memories:

Voice of America was founded to help promote the ideology and spirit of America to foreign audiences. At least, that’s what I always thought.

But somewhere along the way, it became a mouthpiece for Islamist propaganda. A VOA report by Mohamed Elshinnawi about a Pew poll showing increasingly negative opinions of Islam pushes the line that Americans are just brimming over with “Islamophobia,” and it all stems from ignorance of Islam—despite the fact that Americans have more information about Islam than ever, almost all of it heavily slanted towards the positive: VOA News - Is Islam Misunderstood in America? 

This Voice of America article, like almost all mainstream media pieces that cite the Council on American-Islamic Relations, doesn’t bother to mention Nihad Awad’s statement supporting a genocidal terrorist group. A Riverdale Park man suspected of belonging to a violent street gang was convicted yesterday by a Prince George's County jury of participating in the brazen gang rape of a young woman last fall.

Hector Mosquera, 28, was found guilty...Prosecutors said they obtained evidence that Mosquera is a member of Vatos Locos, a street gang made up primarily of Central American immigrants.

Early this morning at about 3:00 am on the West Coast, someone in Sweden Britain connected to the Internet and browsed over to this article at the Guardian by Inayat Bunglawala, media secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain: This code could open doors.

Bunglawala’s piece (about the Da Vinci Code) is in the section of the Guardian site where readers can comment, and someone posted a link to LGF as a rebuttal to Bunglawala. Our Swedish British visitor clicked that link, leading him/her/it to this post: Swedish Muslims Demand Shari’a.

At 3:23 am, this creature used our contact form to send the following email with the obviously phony Hotmail address ‘zionistpig@hotmail.com’ and the subject line, “You bunch of wankers.”

I look forward to the day when you pigs get your throats cut....

Well, isn’t that tolerant.

But this particular death threat is a bit different from the run of the mill hate mail we get around here, because an IP lookup on the sender reveals that he/she/it was using an account at none other than Reuters News: RIPE Whois Database: 192.165.213.18. (Please note: the name and address below are those of Reuters’ technical contact, not the name of the freak responsible for our hate mail. Please do not send him email.) On assertions without evidence

One of the most common responses to my work that I have encountered since I have been doing it publicly is a sweeping assertion that I am ignorant, and/or maliciously ignoring the broad mainstream of peaceful Islam. Of course I do not ignore in the least the broad mainstream of peaceful Muslims, but I have repeatedly pointed out that within the various theological and legal traditions of Islam, they do not have much of a case. All the schools (madhahib) of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) teach violent jihad and Sharia supremacism, with some minor variations. Accordingly, Ibn Warraq is correct when he says that there are moderate Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam.

This bears repeating: there are moderate Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam.

What I have encountered again and again, however, has been the flat assertion that peaceful Islam (not just peaceful Muslims) exists and is the Islamic mainstream, and that I am dishonest or malicious for denying this. But no evidence is ever presented for the existence of this Islam, and in all the years that I have been studying Islamic texts and Islamic history, I have never found it. Again and again and again people throw up to me the assertion without evidence.

Last night I requested more information about the person Reuters says they “suspended” for sending me a death threat, but so far there has been no response.

Meanwhile, the Reuters IP address 192.165.213.18 (from which I received the threat) has hit LGF 9 times today, most recently at 8:48:04 Pacific. What struck me most about this episode is how technically skilled Charles is. The poor buffoon from Reuters who sent the email never knew what hit him. Charles was able to trace his IP address around the globe, and it quickly emerged that the miscreant was Inayat Bunglawala. [The] column by Bunglawala--an extraordinarily silly column, postulating that Christians and Muslims can get along if Christians just give up on the divinity of Christ--was apparently the source of the problem.

Don't believe what anyone tells you when it's simple to check yourself. The Qur'an is the final word in Islam. Most Muslims don't read Arabic so they're just as tied to translations as you are.

The MSA at USC is my old reliable access to three translations.

If one believes in abrogation, that leaves Sura Nine as the last word on everything.

Some things just don't make sense no matter how much you attempt to spin, abrogate, or deny them.

The Reuters IP address that was used to send us a death threat has visited LGF 15 times today. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Reuters has not really suspended the person responsible (as they told me), but something odd’s going on here because the hits from this address are not random at all. All of them go either directly to the post about the death threat, or to one of the other LGF entries linked at the Guardian’s page with Inayat Bunglawala’s article. There are no visits from this IP address to any unrelated LGF pages.

The most recent hit was at 6:31:09 pm Pacific time, and it went directly to the death threat post.

Meanwhile, the Reuters IP address 192.165.213.18 has hit LGF 24 times since 12 midnight, and again almost all of the visits go directly to the page about the death threat.

As for the NAT or DHCP server issue, I just wanted to point out that every computer with a Network Interface Card does have and individual MAC address - which under certain circumstance - can be traced to the exact computer (the packet usually contains a source and destination address).
