I think it is likely that Mirsad Mulahalilovic is not an Arab. In this he is not at all alone among jihadists -- witness Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and large numbers of people in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. Mirsad Mulahalilovic is just another small bit of evidence that the anti-jihad struggle is not a "racist" one, but an ideological one: the enemy is not any particular race, but the adherents of an ideology that would extinguish freedom of conscience and deny equality of rights to women and religious minorities. The persistent unwillingness to acknowledge this reality among the mainstream media and the Left, as well as large segments of the Right, is outstandingly craven.

You ought to be paying more attention to the Arab links to the illegal immigration protests. It is an odd alliance of racist, anti-semitic Chicanoists, Islamists, and Communists. This is an open threat to our democracy.
Some of the connections are out in the open, but there are many murky "organizers" whose identity is not revealed. I've gone to some web sites and drawn some connections, like to Workers' World and to Troops Out Now, and earlier, into some Chicanoist sites with ties to Communist organizations. CAIR is calling for active involvement in these protests."
In Sydney right now we are having a war between rival gangs of Muslim morons - we have had about 22 driveby shootings this year, most in the southwest suburbs of Sydney - MuslimTown. Personally, I would love to see the politicians responsible for allowing these neanderthals to come here as 'refugees' brought up on criminal charges.

So far, the neoconservatives have done a good job of re-running their Iraq playbook and framing discussion on Iran, by laying out these premises:
1. Iran is close to getting nukes.
2. Iran’s President is crazy and irrational and committed to wiping Israel off the map. He can’t be reasoned with.
3. Bush is trying real super hard to get the UN to do something about it, but if they won’t...
If we are to have any hope of preventing a senseless war with Iran, we cannot accept this frame. If all of the above points are reported as fact and accepted by Americans across the ideological spectrum, anti-war arguments will be seen as knee-jerk, immature and reckless, and not get a fair hearing. In turn, Democrats in Congress will get steamrolled again.
How can we reframe the discussion? Our arguments should flow from the following framework:
1. Iran presently has a strong, rational incentive to get nukes. ...
2. Iran has acted rationally and can be reasoned with. ...
3. There is plenty of time to negotiate. ...
Some of these leftist avoidance “frames” have already appeared in public. Watch for the others, soon.
And every single point of their framework is absolutely false.
I know it's an extreme case of Moonbatitis, but what on earth evidence (as opposed to "feelings" do they have to back up any

I sincerely believe this is a world war, at least a cold one, that will go on for decades. Unless Iranian nukes are prevented, we may well get a hot one, too. |
Hamas Leader Mashaal: We'll Never Recognize Israel
Speaking in Tehran, Hamas political chief Khaled Mashaal warned Saturday that "the Palestinians will never recognize Israel." Mashaal also congratulated the Iranian people on the progress in their nuclear ambitions
A16 year old teenage [updated information] Arab suicide bomber, detonated a large explosive at a Tel Aviv fast food stand in the Neveh Sha’anan neighborhood Monday afternoon, killing at least nine civilians. Story here
At least 50 persons were wounded, with 15 sustaining moderate to severe injuries.
The Islamic Jihad terror group and the Al Aksa Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah party, have claimed responsibility for the attack. Fatah is the party of PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Mahmoud Abbas, and his predecessor, PLO terrorist chieftain Yassir Arafat.
I am so tired of the name game. It's Radical Islamists. They change their name labels like I change La Perla. It's always the same murderers.
In 1993, Israel signed the Oslo Accords and ceded control of heavily populated Arab areas to the Palestinian Authority. When the accords were signed, the PLO and its largest component, Fatah, pledged in writing to refrain from carrying out terrorist attacks or from using violence of any kind against Israel.
Oslo was the biggest mistale Israel ever made. You can not negotiate a peace if you haven't beaten the enemy. Thoroughly. Negotiation only empowers the tactics of the savages. It didn't work in Paris with the Viet Cong, it won't work with these animals. Germany and Japan post war efforts were so successful because those countries were so thoroughly beaten. The Pali Arabs and their enablers must be thoroughly beaten.
The left wing in Israel will destroy that country much the same way they are destroying America. Israel is infected with the same disease (liberalism) as the US and most countries of the world. It bespoils everything it touches.
The Al Aksa Brigades and the Islamic Jihad have been cooperating extensively to carry out terrorist attacks against Israel, especially since Hamas won a pivotal parliamentary election in the Palestinian Authority last January.

"A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up outside a fast-food restaurant in a bustling area of Tel Aviv during the Passover holiday Monday, killing eight other people and wounding at least 49 in the deadliest Palestinian attack in more than a year," the Associated Press reports. This is in Tel Aviv, not the disputed territories:The Palestinians' new Hamas leaders called the attack a legitimate response to Israeli "aggression." Israel said it held Hamas ultimately responsible--even though a different militant group, Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility--and would respond "as necessary." . . .
Witness Israel Yaakov said the blast killed a woman standing near her husband and children.
"The father was traumatized. He went into shock. He ran to the children to gather them up and the children were screaming, 'Mom! Mom!' and she wasn't answering, she was dead already . . . it's a shocking scene," Yaakov said.
Another witness, 62-year-old Sonya Levy, said she had just finished shopping when the blast occurred.
"I was about to get into my car, and boom! There was an explosion. A bit of human flesh landed on my car and I started to scream," she said.

Did you notice that in the first article, in 2004, the author includes sneering people who blame Bush for the Somalis brutality...and that by the time of the recent essay, he's not so sure it's America's fault? I spent a depressingly realistic evening with Arnold and Frimit Roth, parents of Malki, a fourteen-year-old girl blown up in the Sbarro Pizza bombing of the summer of 2001. Among the issues discussed was whether Europe would wake up before it was too late. To that end, I draw your attention to an excellent essay by Bruce Bower, “The Crisis of Europe,” published by the Hudson Review. In my essay about the retreat of the Western world order, I mentioned the possibility of civil strife in the West caused by runaway immigration. This is no longer just a theoretical possibility. It is pretty clear to anybody following the developments in Europe that the situation in France is starting to become rather serious. President Jacques Chirac threw out part of a youth labor law that triggered massive protests and strikes, bowing to intense pressure from students and unions. The unemployment rate for youths under 26 is a staggering 22 percent nationwide, but soars to nearly 50 percent in some of those troubled areas with many Muslim immigrants. French Jews are leaving the country in ever-growing numbers, fleeing a wave of anti-Semitism. Nidra Poller, American ex-pat writer and translator in Paris, has written some appalling stories about aggressive anti-Semitism, such as the murder and brutal torture of French Jew Ilan Halimi early in 2006.

According to some, one out of three babies born in France is now a Muslim. Around 70% of French prisoners are Muslims. Hundreds of Muslim ghettos are already de facto following sharia, not French law. Some have pointed out that the French military are not always squeamish, but there are estimates that 15% of the armed forces are already made up of Muslims, and rising. How effective can the army then be in upholding the French republic? At the same time, opinion polls show that the French are now officially the most anti-capitalist nation on earth. France has chosen Socialism and Islam. It will get both, and sink into a quagmire of its own making. Some believe France will quietly become a Muslim country, others believe in civil war in the near future:

North America’s leading Islamist organization, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, enjoyed a seeming endorsement last week when it hosted the FBI on a television show. But if America’s top law enforcement agency and many in the American establishment are clueless about CAIR’s sympathy for the enemy, others may understand the problem better - such as the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS).CAIR, which claims to enjoy a “status of enviable prestige within [the] highest echelons” of Washington, figured it, too, deserved the privilege. This month, the group applied for GETS status, claiming to serve as an important point of contact with Muslims following September 11, 2001.CAIR’s request was denied in less than three hours.
Why? A lawsuit that CAIR filed...CAIR documented some of its electronic communications with persons accused of links to terrorists.
