By gosh, I'm glad the Rats are fielding a candidate who's concerned about due process for Osama, a monster who's repeatedly on the record promoting the mass slaughter of American civilians.

Go, Dr. Dean!

Why is Dean getting so much press right now, during Christmas? Way more than the others.

He is fun to cover since he IS such a babbling idiot and is so histronic -- and he is also anointed by the press (much like Klintoon was). This, of course, works in our favor since he will hang himself by his tongue.

It's 1988 Presidential debate/Bernie Shaw/"What if your wife was raped . . .?" all over again.

An earlier classic. - tom

Mudd: “Why do you want to be president?”

Kennedy: “Well, I’m — were I to — to make the announcement and — to run, the reasons that I would run is because I have a great belief in this country, that it is — has more natural resources than any nation in the world, has the greatest educated population in the world, the greatest capacity for innovation in the world, and the greatest political system in the world. And yet, I see at the current time that most of the industrial nations of the world are exceeding us in terms of productivity, are doing better than us in terms of meeting the problems of inflation, that they`re dealing with their problems of energy and their problems of unemployment....

And the energies and the resourcefulness of this nation, I think, should be focused on these problems in a way that brings a sense of restoration in this country by its people to — in dealing with the problems that we face — primarily the issues on the economy, the problems of inflation, and the problems of energy. And I would basically feel that — that it`s imperative for this country to either move forward, that it can`t stand still, or otherwise it moves back.”

Thoughts on his Reasons for doing so would be greatly appreciated for his stupidity

He's only feigning stupidity. He's been told by Hillary that
he is to run as he is so she can step in at the last minute to "save the party."
She only had to briefly mention Vince Foster and Ron Brown to convince
Dr. Dean that following her directions were in his best interest.

It's starting to look a lot like Dean won't be getting the nomination. He'll self-destruct before then. It's a pity. Bush would've administered an unbelievable Texas style a$$whooping to the doctor.

Might as well start building up counter points to the Clark campaign.

To Dean, taking action such as Bush has against the terrorists constitutes weakness. Talking to (negotiating with?) the terrorists and letting them air their "just grievances" would signify strength.

No cojones. A follower of the international socialist movement. Must be stopped.

Amen to that !

Interesting choices for Howard Dean's college classes. Marxism, Communism, etc ...

I think he must have truly EMBRACED them, too ! ...

the 9 dwarves would have about 25 supporters between them all.

Those 25 plus 25 million dead voters the demoncRATs will have on there side.

Uh huh... according to Nikita Dean Osama gets the benefit of the doubt whereas the victims of 9-11 don't deserve such niceties. Then again liberals glorify the criminal and blame the victim --- its part of their mindset and Dean simply couldn't help himself here. Let's face it, he's the personification in such rash comments, of the Ugly American.

Hey Howie you moron......Bin Laden killed 3,000 Americans....grrrrrrrrrrrr!

With help from Saddam and yet we're willing to accept Saddam being placed on trial in Iraq. Why shouldn't Saddam face American justice for his crimes on 9/11?

A trial for a man that has declared WAR! Now what would you charge him with disturbing the PEACE? How about charging him with manslaughter, because it was just the plan to knock down the buildings and you made a mistake on the time of day. What an a## is Dean.

Asked how he would persuade people who were not opposed to the war to vote for him instead of President Bush, Dean responded, "By going after him on terrorism, where he's really weak."

My goodness! He says this after the above prattle about jury trials, prejudging, and asserting bin Laden may not deserve the death penalty?!

Dean questioned whether the Bush administration's use of force against Iraq had anything to do with Libya's announcement that it will scrap its programs for weapons of mass destruction.

I question what is filling the space between Dean's ears. It sure is not a brain.

The major press will give him a pass on this one like they do all the idiotic statements made by the 9 dwarves.

They won't be able to give him a pass when the other dem candidates start ripping him to shreds over these types of things. Dean is not the one the dems want to win the nomination. The media might like him at the moment but I guarantee you he will be brought low by the others. By November next year, I doubt too many people will even remember the Demonic Democratic Doctor from Vermont.

To Deanieboppers, Bush is weak in the WOT because he has alienated all of our allies, lost focus by pursuing a war in Iraq, stirring up even more terror thereby. Conversely, adopting a law enforcement stance toward terrorist acts would be strong in the WOT (in the myopic eyes of the Deanies) because it is moral and will encourage everyone (France) to rally around our efforts.

Dean will eventually be forced to enunciate these positions and W. will eviscerate him on them. For now, the press is giving Dean a major pass, as is their wont.
