Alan Colmes thinks OJ was innocent. Usually I can rely on Alan to take the opposite viewpoint of whatever I think, but I thought even he could see truth staring him in the face. Sigh. (I'm being a drive-by poster today, I really do need to work on these spreadsheets. Back in a little bit...)

Somehow tho, I doubt this little rat will be getting the death penalty. This is Virginia, not Maryland. He'll get the death penalty.

The prosecution said it'd take them a day to present testimony in the penalty phase. The defense will be flying in people who knew Malvo in Jamaica, including his teacher(s), as if a elementary school teacher knows what an animal Malvo became.

The jurors asked the judge this morning for the definition of 'Malice'. How did Bill Clinton get on a jury?

Is the text crawl about some other case? The "up to 24 years" is, by definition, incorrect for "capitol" murder.

I always like that. They give the bad guy a bulletproff vest to protect him, then put him in an orange jumpsuit that'll make him an easier target.

Another great early talent was the laconic and hilarious Allen "Farina" Hoskins, who had started as a toddler in the silent films. Farina was a natural talent who knew how to give his lines just the right inflection. Farina was as versatile an actor as Cooper and had an amazing ability to cry on cue. When he grew too old to remain in the series, Farina was replaced by Matthew "Stymie" Beard, who earned his nickname by constantly being underfoot of director Bob McGowan ("Boy, that kid stymies me all the time!"). Stymie could handle jokes and wisecracks with the best of them, and consequently got some of the best lines and dialogue routines of the series. According to Stymie himself, the derby he wore actually belonged to his hero Stan Laurel. Avid Rascals fans can spot a grown up Stymie in television shows and movies of the 70s, such as THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY.

What a journey this has been!
Although I am now retired, I began a detail to the FBI Building in DC 5 years ago this month and there meet Linda Franklin who was also starting that same week in the same unit.
The two of us later shared a cubicle wall for nearly 15 months where I became very aware of this bright, intelligent and gifted woman.
Being a resident of Fredericksburg VA, we had our own victims here. A group from our church was to meet at the parking lot of the Michael's, the site of our first victim, to hold a press conference that we had begun a prayer campaign to end the needless slaughter. On the way to the meeting, I heard on the radio that a female FBI employee named Linda Franklin had become the latest victim.
After the meeting, the news confirmed the unspeakable concern that the Linda I had known was the latest loss.
What answers did Ted Franklin have to explain all this? What answers did we have to give him.
Our community got behind the family of Kenneth Bridges of Philadelphia who was gunned down while pumping gas at a station many of us used.
We gave money and some us traveled to meet with the family to extend our support to help his children have some hope of attending college.
I heard Ken Bridge's widow express forgiveness to those responsible for her husband untimely death What a waste these killings have caused, and for what!! Two juries have now made the decision offered to them. My gratitude goes out to each juror for their service. My heart goes out to the broken families, neighbors and friends.

Now we need to tie him up to a post at say 600 yd and let each of the family members take a few snipes at him.Ground rules for Malvo execution
Rule #1: NO HEAD SHOTS!!!! Too quick, too painless....
Rule #2: There is no rule #2. FIRE AT WILL!
