Material Girl covers [Weasel] Clark with praise

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) --The Material Girl has stepped onto the political stage and endorsed Democratic presidential hopeful Wesley Clark.

"I think he has a good handle on foreign policy, I think he's good with people, and I think he has a heart and a consciousness," pop singer Madonna said. "He's interested in spirituality -- I mean, those things mean a lot to me."

The singer and children's book author met Clark a few weeks ago for over an hour. In an interview recorded last week with CNN's Denise Quan, Madonna said they discussed his becoming president.

The singer told Quan she had decided to support the former general and she felt Clark was a natural-born leader.

"As it stands right now, he's got my support," Madonna said.

The two were introduced by "Bowling for Columbine" filmmaker Michael Moore, who was an early supporter of Clark.

Madonna said she saw a few television interviews with Clark and wanted to meet with him herself.

"I think to be the general for as long as he's been, this is a man who knows how to deal with pressure and make decisions under pressure," Madonna said.

Clark, a retired Army general, was NATO's supreme commander during the 1999 air war against Yugoslavia.

He testified Monday and Tuesday in the war crimes trial of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, now held in The Hague. (Full story)

RABBI SLAMS MADONNA'S KABBALAH OBSESSION


A respected Rabbi has spoken out about MADONNA's obsession with the
Kabbalah faith - insisting she has "lost the plot".
RABBI YITCHAK SCHOCHET of London's MILL HILL UNITED SYNAGOGUE
has derided the pop star's vocal support of the mystical offshoot of Judaism -
claiming Madonna, who was raised Roman Catholic, is "insulting" the Jewish
community with her ill-informed comment.
He fumes, "She will be insulting herself and all of the Jewish community. She
should stick with singing - what she is good at. You can only understand the
Kabbalah if you understand all of Judaism. If she thinks she can talk about
Kabbalah then she is making a fool of herself.
"If she purports to be explaining Kabbalah (with the book) then he has obviously
lost the plot.
"Kabbalah is an integral part of the Jewish faith, which is esoteric and
theocratic. You need years of study to understand it."

Madanna is studying - but is she studying Kabbalah?
No - she is studying with a charlatan named Philip Berg, a former insurance salesman who has transformed into a "Kabbalah" salesman. His teachings are a corruption of Kabbalah with a weird emphasis on reincarnation and a primary emphasis on purchasing products from Rabbi (sadly he IS a rabbi) Berg and his family.
I hope Ms. Ritchie finds a good teacher and learns the truth - I do not doubt her sincerity.

Excellent question. But the evidence suggests that Wesley Clark suffers from multiple personality disorder, so I suppose it's possible for him to sell himself to multiple interests, one soul at a time.
