The Democrats have changed. Just as an example, if I could go back in time 45 years or so, I think I could've sat down and carried on a pleasant, substantive conversation with, say, Hubert Humphrey. We'd have been in different solar systems as far as our political beliefs, but I think it would've been a substantive, enlightening, enjoyable meeting because he was an intelligent, decent, classy guy and because we and the "old left" or "old-line liberals" had one thing in common ... a love for this country, regardless of political disagreements.

The new left, as evidence by the DU, are maniacs who want revolution and who hate this country and everything it's ever stood for and every value it's ever possessed. Their ideal for this country is Denmark, Cuba, old USSR, etc. There is no common ground and mutual respect, there is only conflict and hatred.

I think the reason they post so young is because most of them ARE young...maybe not twelve but I'd love to know the mean age over there, probably not much past legal drinking age. Gives hope to the familiar quote "If you're not a liberal when you're young you don't have a heart; if you're not conservative when you're older you don't have a brain." :)

Here's a better way to get back at leftists... hit them with their own game. It's called "Google Bombing". They have done it to George Bush, so that whenever someone enters "miserable failure" into Google, it links to George Bush.

Well, the concept is simple, and we can fight back! Do this:

Copy and paste the following code into newsgroups or DU itself as shown. If many people do this and keep doing it, Michael Moore's name will come up whenever someone searches Google for "miserable failure" or any of the other three terms for Democrat icons I've included in this script. This script will appear invisible and be very small. Highlight below the second rule with your cursor to read the hidden text/links/google-bomb.

I've been trying to get GoogleNews to de-list DemocraticUnderground as a "news" source.

The support team agrees that violent hate speech will make them reasses their opinion of DU as a "news" source. I've sent them some in the past but they always request more.

One example I cited even made the Wall Street Journal (and was taken offline by DU admins because of the bad attention it was drawing them, but not before the "offending" comment got much praise on DU). I sent them the Wall Street Journal article but the support person was unimpressed since the message had since been taken offline.
