With VERY few exceptions (thanks to the people that were human and to people that wrote me privately) you people are a bunch of fundamentalist zealots. You aren't conservatives...you're fascists. You make me embarrassed to be a Republican.

Funny dog photo!
I saw a derranged mutt today. Cross between a Chihuahua and a pit bull.
Imagine a stout body with tiny head that had a muscle running across the forehead.

I was going to explain to her what a fascist is. But she is now among the sneerly departed.

I'm sorry you've been zotted but I had nothing to do with it.
Does that mean that tomorrow night is off? Damn, just when I thought......

It was bound to happen. Read some of her posts on this thread and you'll see what I mean. The more links I go to where she graced us with her socialist feminist presence, the happier I am that she is a ZOT!
Clearly she is arguing for the sake of argument.

Pedantic_Lady posted articles in different languages, refused to translate them, and mad-dogged anyone who couldn't read them. She said they were dumb monolinguists and things like that. I got into a pretty heated arguement with her. xsmommy's right; Pedantic_Lady thought the sun didn't shine until she got up.
And you're not mistaken, xsmommy, I am 13. :)

Dear Ms. Pedantic Lady,
I greatly appreciate your finely articulated statement quoted above.
Not, of course, because I agree either with you or with your statements, but because I have never had so much fun on FreeRepublic as I have had today reading this thread. Most of these posters have out-done themselves today.
Again, thank you.
Respectfully, in dissidence,
Fqued, Esq.

(Oh where, oh where, have the democrats gone? where, oh where, can they be?)
Her Heinous in action:
Actually, what I would like is for all children to be able to attend a public school where Christianity is not crammed down their throats. You seem to be all in favor of forcing people to acknowledge your religion while running scared from all other belief systems.
there are many books devoted to the theory that Jesus never existed. I second that. I worked in an office in Texas that had a muzak system. I had to take 2 Valiums a day the whole month of December.
That's cute...what saturate-our-public-schools-with-religion pamphlet did you copy that from?
I'm going to switch GPs (my GP is an a$$hole of the highest order)
I hear ya. I'm the only person I've ever met that has fallen down an entire flight of stairs three times. The first time was in Austin at an apartment complex; the stairs were icy (we had just had an ice storm). I chalked that one up to clumsiness and made sure to be more careful.
Second time was on a flight of stairs at my apartment in Irving (Texas). It had just rained and I had previously complained to the landlord that the stairs were very slippery after a rain. She didn't do anything to make the stairs safer. I tumbled down an entire flight of concrete and iron stairs but was not seriously injured, so I didn't file a claim. I didn't even see a doctor.
Third time was a few months ago. I tripped over some loose carpeting on a flight of stairs at work.
To people like me, who were raised as Christians but are agnostic/atheist, it's just another holiday that carries very little meaning.
I don't know that he changed his behavior. There have been lots of pictures of him drinking published since he was elected. Bush is every bit the unrepentant liar that Clinton was.
Women also outscore men on standardized tests. That means we're smarter, too. ...If anything, the teachers were ever so slightly biased in favor of the boys....but I found that as I got older, I preferred female doctors. That's not to say that I didn't give male doctors a chance. I visited 2 male gynecologists before settling on a female one. I visited 3 male internists before settling on a female one. I visited 3 male psychiatrists before...well, you get the point. The best doctor I ever had in the U.S. was a woman, and a minority at that...
Maybe the reason that men are allegedly more psychologically stable is because they are paid more.
Good point. American doctors are good; they give you painkillers and tranquilizers even when you don't really need them.
It is entirely possible to receive good nutrition on a diet lacking meat (though you should discuss it with a dietician), yet we kill and eat animals.
I wore a tag around my neck explaining the allergy and carried a hypodermic with me.
Don't play dumb. Show me your gestational abortion stats. What makes you think that (fahers) have the right to determine the future of a child growing in someone else's body? Typical selfish ilk straight from the "men's rights" handbook. "Do you think men should have rights in abortion decisions of their children?"
No.
I support a woman's right to make their own decisions. My friend got pregnant and kept her baby. My sister-in-law got pregnant and didn't. I don't think more or less of either of them for the decisions that they made. That's your opinion. Me, I don't believe in the concept of a "soul."
as well as sexual assault victims Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick
That should be "alleged sexual assault victims." They never proved he assaulted either of those women.
I'm married...but anyone who is divorced (half the people who have been married) will tell you you can't count on your spouse for every (any?) thing. Can't count on the family. Can't count on friends...most people will cut and run when the going gets tough. I have to look out for #1. Sorry if that upsets your delicate maternal sensibilities, but that's the way it is for me.
But what are lumberjacks doing cutting down trees in a national forest?
...8 year Clinton-hating orgy that distracted lawmakers on both sides from the business of running the country. The GOP swept into power in the House in 1994 and that power has not yet been threatened. That's a huge gift.
I'm atheist; I don't believe in God.
Are the armed muslims poaching?
No, but the armed Irish Loyalists are poaching Catholics...I told you that millions have died in Europe fighting over Christianity.
The vast majority of abortions occurs before the embryo even has a skull. Sorry....peddle that bleeding-heart twaddle elsewhere...And keep the wife barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen where she belongs?
Obviously you didn't check my bio. I live in England. Different deer, different trees. Excuse the f*** out of me for even speaking.
'We're discussing today, not 700 or 500 or 300 years ago. Today the islamists are the chief barbarians of the world.'
I don't agree.
'As a parent, I have every right to ensure the life and safety of my child. '
Only after it has been born.

I just read that thread and Pedantic Lady has "issues" still.I hope agrace had tongue firmly in cheek when she apologized.I am appalled at PL's lack of civility and inability to admit a mistake.
That behavior isn't fit for polite society and sure doesn't belong on this board.Instead of a Marxist, perhaps she's a Troskyite.I had this terrible urge to slap her!

What a miserable creature she is. Accident prone, too. This must be a particularly awful time of the year for her. Sad to say, I have read posts from people even more miserable, but only at Democratic Underground.
I hope the remainder of her life turns out at least marginally better than what her posts at FR evidence to date.
