Hi everyone.
One of the things I have noticed lately is that, at least from where I sit, trolling activity has increased greatly recently. Many relatively new accounts, or older accounts with previously little or no activity, suddenly coming on and posting negative comments about President Reagan, saying they are lifelong Republicans but no more, and a bunch of other things that could be legitimately held beliefs on their part but when taken in aggregate make it clear that there is quite a bit of trolling action going on.
I found the following to be quite illuminating. Alexa.com is a website which tracks web usage for those who voluntarily use their software (a browser toolbar extension). They accumulate the data and compile it into useful reports, such as traffic reports. They also report on related topics-- "People who visit this page also visit".
So, what sites do "People who visit" Free Republic also visit?
"Progressive-left activist news and essays with an extensive link page to all things counter cultural and activist."
"Contains information on boycott campaigns, sweatshop activism, public service, barter and LETSystems to regenerate local economies in the service of local needs."
""Promoting a worldwide community of informed, inspired, committed citizens who are actively engaged in confronting the challenges facing humanity." In English, Español, Français."

Just some food for thought.
Why can't you post things like this using your regular screen ID? Just curious, thanks.
Really!
Here are your drug warrior related posts since December 1, I don't begin to even touch your total number of posts on the subject. And I have not included our most recent posts back forth on the subject. Sorry for the lack of paragraphs, but the large number of your posts has kept me from being able to compartmentalize all your numerous posts on these drug warrior threads.

Slow drivers cause accidents as well. How many of you yell at some old geezer driving 20 miles an hour in a 60 MPH zone? look at all the people trying to get around him on a 2 lane hwy, risking head on collisions?
Let's see: it's the drivers trying to pass who are risking head on collision yet the slow driver is the cause? I find that when I do 70 mph in a 65 mph zone on the Interstate I have people crowding my bumper waiting for the chance to whip around me and I rarely pass anyone myself at that speed. I guess I'm a hazard on the road and a cause of dangerous situations. 84 posted on 12/06/2003 7:04:27 AM PST by TigersEye

A lid went for $5 and a lid was a four finger baggie. Quite a bit more than an ounce. It was up to $15 by 1970 and as much as $35 per weighed oz. by '73 when I graduated HS. Interdiction in and of itself doesn't drive the price up or lessen the supply. It's the mere illegality and prosecution efforts that drive prices. 28 posted on 12/04/2003 7:52:55 PM PST by TigersEye ("Where there is life there is hope!" - Terri Schiavo) [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 4 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] To: PaxMacian $50 per oz is a lot for Mexican though. $17 on the third turnover is more like it but that would make this bust sound too penny ante. 29 posted on 12/04/2003 7:58:59 PM PST by TigersEye ("Where there is life there is hope!" - Terri Schiavo) [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 4 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] ; .; ; .; ; .; ; .; ; .; ; .; ; .; ; .; ;To: No King but Jesus Such is the nature of a zombie I suppose. You're pretty funny. Our recent posts back and forth were not on the subject of drugs. They were on the subject of your paranoia.
Going back to Dec. 1st is funny too. You haven't posted near as much as I have on anything in that period. But if one simply does a find in forum on you and goes back a page they'll find a much heavier trend of posting on the WODdie threads. When cornered - SPAM!
Let's just call it a day, and go on our own seperate ways, for quite honestly I tire of you.
Perhaps some. It is funny how a large percentage of them were against private enterprise. :^)
That's right! This does explain a lot. Anti-capitalism, taking the word of enemies over our own military and so forth.
That's fine with me. No one forced you to respond to me in the first place. I find your type of crusade against posters you disagree with tiring. And of little value. I made my point about it at the outset; you chose to give it credence by responding with an attack similar to your attacks on No King But Jesus.
I'm sure I would appreciate your views on many things. I wouldn't dislike you or discount your opinion about the WOD's simply because it opposes mine. It is your method that I find disagreeable and unproductive. That's your choice. I hold no power to stop you and have no desire to force a change or prevent you from acting as you will. As I told Protagoras; I don't ping the Mods.
I won't be hoping for or against a response from you but don't feel like you can't talk to me. You can't intimidate or humiliate me out of my POV but you can surely talk to me and possibly even change my mind on some things if you try.
Give the other poster a little respect, whether you agree with them or not, and you will find it may be returned. That's what's happened here but it took you quite a while to give it a try. But I admit; I opened with a shot to your port side. I feel I was justified in doing it. Your mileage may vary!
Have a great day and may you crush many liberals beneath your feet.
Unless I misunderstand you it was you who first posted to me with a personal attack. And you not being part of the original conversation that I was involved.

LeRoy was a siminar poster who beat the issue to death, and attempted to use this forum to promote his illegal cause. He was justly banned for that activity.
I'm sure I would appreciate your views on many things. I wouldn't dislike you or discount your opinion about the WOD's simply because it opposes mine. It is your method that I find disagreeable and unproductive.
What method is that? I made the comment that I think that No King but Jesus is really LeRoy. That is an obervation made in a disucssion forum, and I think in no way shows the other poster disrespect. Unless that is he deserves to be disrespected.. I don't agree that that is a personal attack.
That's your choice. I hold no power to stop you and have no desire to force a change or prevent you from acting as you will. As I told Protagoras; I don't ping the Mods.

I wouldn't dream of doing such, nor would I have ever begun to think that my actions and words were in anyway an attempt to intimidate you.
but you can surely talk to me and possibly even change my mind on some things if you try.
I must admit here that I really desire no further conversation with you, for reasons that I don't care to go into any more than I already have illustrated.
Give the other poster a little respect,
And this statement is a prime example of why I feel that it would be a waste of time for the two of us to further converse. "Give the other poster a little respect"?
By stating the fair and honest opinion that I believe LeRoy to be No King but Jesus, is not a sign of disrespect. But whatever.

Likewise have a great day and a Merry Christmas.
A point by point response is a funny way to show it. I suspect it's my point by point response to that that you'd rather not see.
Merry Christmas!
If God is good and he is, we will never have to talk to each other again. At least that is I will never initiate an original post to you. Just not worth it. Like talking to the wall.
