I suspect this will backfire on the authorities. Their actions are so transparent only the most blind idealogue could fail to see that this is purely political.

If Rush did the crime, he should do the time.

I didn't know doctor shopping was against the law.

Smells like a witch hunt to me.

Mr. Limbaugh violated the penumbra and emanations of the law...

"Doctor Shopping"? Let's see. What should the penalty be: life in prison, or the chair?

There is a lot of doctor shopping going on, I hear about it all of the time. I have never heard of anyone getting prosecuted for it however. Anyone else?

"Mr. Limbaugh's actions violate the letter, and spirit" of the law that relates to "doctor shopping," stated one of warrants . . .

Maybe it's just me, but the wording of this warrant sounds rather odd. Why not just say that his actions violated Section X, Item Y of the Florida Criminal Code?

Rush's real crime? Offending the liberal elite. Some Florida prosecutor is trying to make a name for himself. The prosecutor will be found to be a close friend of some national demonRAT leader (but that point will never be widely publicized by the major media--except for Fox).

"Mr. Limbaugh's actions violate the letter, and spirit" of the law that relates to "doctor shopping," stated one of warrants, signed by Asim Brown, a law enforcement agent assigned to the state attorney's office anti-money laundering task force.

They don't got squat.

Much as I like Limbaugh, he actions seem to be very much against the spirit of our drug laws, if not, contrary to what the reports states, against the letter of them.

I am not a dittohead and never have been one, so it's not like he lost a fan. But I am surprised that he let this situation go on for so long. It's a character issue, all the touchy-feely talk about the steel-jawed trap of addiction notwithstanding.

Did they "raid" the doctors' offices or did they walk in and ask for the records after flashing the warrant?

Stupid presstitutes.

Does this mean that his housekeeper is full of crap?

Question: if the law was "new" last September, maybe any "shopping" done prior to that doesn't count?
