A Bad Day at DU (Rolling on the Floor Laughing at the Poor DU'ers...) (OK'd by Jim)
DUH ^

Boy, Thanksgiving sure was a bad day at DU.
A thread about Bush's visit to Iraq
Another thread about Bush's visit to Iraq
A thread about Toby Keith's Halftime Show
Just for reference, so we know what kind of people we're dealing with, a poll conducted on DU
Another DU poll
I'm not sure if linking to DU threads is frowned upon or not, but these threads are too good to not share with my fellow Freepers. Comedy gold!

Yes, I just saw the 'no linking to DU' on the submit screen. I've had several requests for the links to the various threads and thought I'd post them. Sorry if I'm out of line.
Ok, no I'm not!!! C'mon, this stuff is hilarious!!!

It's a shame the Thanksgiving of so many DUers was obviously ruined.
A darned shame.

Actually the "reason why freeper's visit DU" poll speaks volumes. I've never seen the left referred to in the terms framed of the right by the poll. When your side is so bereft of ideas, inspiration, and moral certainty that you are left incoherently hurling dung you are in a boatload of trouble and really that's exactly the problem the left has.
I know Hillary Clinton isn't on many people's list of favorite people on this board but you know what? While all the democratic candidates are busy bashing the war and placing our troops in danger by pandering to the iraqi resistance propoganda (if not outright encouraging it because each casualty can be counted on their imaginary quagmire abaccus), Hillary was over in Afganistan -- with the troops, the guys who actually count.
The Clinton's won't try and make you feel guilty for supporting your country or the wars we've fought to defend it.
The democratic candidates and the bankrupt intelligenca on the DU give every single impression they thing we should have listened to France.
That's why Hillary is actually a threat, and the rest of the democrats are not.
Anyway, I've watched the left and their media organs self disintigrate because they have so completely lost touch with an American public that still remembers well the sting of 9-11 and fully supports the use, and if necessary, abuse of American military supremacy to fully prosecute this war.
Lord help the US and the democratic party if there is another catastrophic terrorist attack on the US because just as they are being checkmated by a strenghtening economy, another attack will checkmate their anti-war, anti-us rehtoric and may hurt the party so much it will be years before they can redeam themselves from their self-imposed irrelevancy.

81-19 for the good guys - that's unheard of for a CNN poll. Either the DUmpster denizens are too depressed to slam the poll, or President Bush really knocked it out of the park with his trip.

Seems they are still in denial ... LOL
and those troops don't look all that thrilled. At one point there was a shot from the back and not all of them even stood up. That was sort of strange.

Either the DUmpster denizens are too depressed to slam the poll, or President Bush really knocked it out of the park with his trip. Your second observation is the one that is correct.
