This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

This thread will stay up through next Sunday. I will be in Kentucky for Thanksgiving, but I will still be able to check in with y'all, just not as often.

Sent my letter to Judge Baird....CANNOT BELIEVE that Felos wants to skip the trial and especially DISCOVERY!! The very thought of discovery must have him panicked. He knows what Michael has done, and HE KNOWS what he has done.

Now--off to vote in the outrageous poll. (Leaving God out of the equation was pretty sick.)

If there were bona fide efforts made to give Terri food and water orally when the feeding tube was removed, then one could have argued that it was up to God whether to work a miracle. Indeed, in the case of Karen Ann Quinlan, the doctors who shut off the ventilator did so knowing that Ms. Quinlan would probably die as a result, but there was an outside possibility that she might not.

In his efforts to kill Terri, however, Michael is willing to take no such chances. He wants her dead. He doesn't want to leave any room for miracles. And yet he accuses others of "playing God".

BTW, I've sometimes wondered if it would be fair to resolve this issue by locking Michael and Terri in separate rooms without food and water. When one dies, the other gets to have food and water again. Think Michael would be up for that challenge?

Felos knows his time is almost up. Discovery is the last thing Michael or Felos wants to have happen, but it's really too late for that, because an investigation is already under way. They both have guilty consciences, as they should!

I want to know if Greer is planning to get that guardianship hearing under way any time soon. I've heard that he's not planning to before Schiavo vs. Bush is settled, but I think that's even pushing it. I think that's got to be wrong. The guardianship issue should be held independently of whether the law is constitutional or not.

I mean what's Greer gonna do with the guardianship issue if the law is ruled constitutional? Say ok- either Michael gets to retain guardianship or Terri's brother does. If the law is ruled unconstitutional, then is he going to decide that he doesn't need to make a ruling? I mean, to me that's just plain stupid. That's not even taking into account any appeals that will surely follow, no matter the ruling. Is he going to wait until those are finished before he decides who should be Terri's guardian? I don't get it. I think Greer is just a weak cop-out of a judge.

Now all the talk is about the latest on the money fight between the Schindlers and Schiavo. This case transcends any monetary considerations for anyone. The bottom line here is murder under the euphemism of right-to-die.

The idea that the Schindlers are in this to get money is ridiculous. All they want is Terri. Not even the same Terri. They have accepted her limitations. They aren't being unrealistic. Anybody who thinks that the Schindlers are in this for the money are either ignorant or heartless. I think most are uninformed, but there are a lot of people out there who do know better, and still choose to believe the lies of Felos and MS.

I agree with you and can't understand how people can get so down on the Schindlers. If the husband promised to reimburse them and help them with part of the settlement money and then reneged, he is a cad. Too bad it wasn't in writing.

It sounds to me like this guy took advantage of the generosity of the Schidlers. Not only that, but he was a freeloader and has behaved dishonorably imo.

I can't spend my time of polls that disgust me but others can. Be careful in regards to manipulating them re: backdoors, or cookies erasing, etc. I know they are unscientific, etc. but some people are accusing people on Freep of hacking. Just letting people know. In regards to bandwidth exceeded it happened yesterday and I was cut off for a time and had to make an alternative but even then I was still cut off from redirecting which made me very upset that my provider would do that. I guess I'm innocent in regards to understanding 'bandwidth' ;-[ Anyway I'm trying to get another workaround to host off my e eng. (enlightenment engine) server, etc. in san fran. but my friend has to get me past an error I'm encountering. In the meantime I'm redirecting to zimp as phenn is helping me out but I don't want to be a burden and eat up any bandwidth. I guess I need to pair down the data amounts, etc. on the Campaign site, etc. ughhh bandwidth!!! I pretty much innocent and unthinking of it until yesterday! except for when I was trying to get the Terri videos hosted which no one has seen yet (never accomplished). I would rather see any monies go towards Terri but I understand that things cost. Nevertheless I'm willing to defray my own costs but would consider if anyone knows how to get past or can help with any hosting or bandwidth issues... I heard that there is some satellite alternatives from my friend (co-parnter) re: e eng. Tnx for askin and is appreciated that people care. Yours in the good fight and for Terri.

I would rather complain to them that their poll is ludicrous and that they are doing a disservice to Terri by it, etc. They are not representing the truth of the matter or reality, etc. They are only pointing out their ignorance and stupidity.

Forge ahead. Please point out places that are not representing the facts at certain sites if you come upon them and people can check it out and post their thoughts, etc. I saw a site that is by some lawyer and gives the appearance of the law but is for Michael/Felos and Co. and wants Terri to die. The man is a sicko, he was posting on the Oprah message board for Terri.

The family lets Vigilers know when they're going to be on tv. Oprah may be a re-run but maybe not. LKL will be "Live" from LA this Friday at 9:00 est. If it's cancelled for a 3rd time, please don't flame FV.

Poor Michael doesn't want to go through a trial, poor baby. Look for Felos' next science fiction novel: "Death Can Be Fun" (sarcasm tag).

We need to email Greer and request that the Guardianship hearing move forward rapidly...that there is genuine suffering, needless suffering going on every second he delays.

The more this man hears about what American know about this case, perhaps the more motivated he will become to inform himself and to act accordingly.<p.Felos has Greer cowared, we need to awaken the conscience and spirit of our laws within Greer. Through prayer, emails, phone calls and anything we can think of to bring this Judge into the realm of the type of justice our constitution calls for...Felos has him running scared, it would appear, big time.

Greer better wake up and realize his rulings discriminate against disabled people. By ruling Terri is in a PVS state and she has a terminal condition (even though under FL law, PVS is distinct from a terminal illness) Greer is making discriminatory rulings, which if they are allowed to stand, will affect the health and well-being of other disabled people.

Judges have been removed for other kinds of discrimination, why are the disabled fair game? The Americans with Disabilities Act protects people such as Terri. For Greer to disallow her rights under the ADA because of her disability is wrong! Greer would be the first to cry about his rights being taken away if he was removed from the bench for being legally blind, wouldn't he?

Terri does not belong in a hospice - Felos had her put there to convey the impression she is terminally ill and close to a natural death. He is so wrong. Greer and the other Pinellas judge-puppets are not defending her right to lve! They err on the side of killing her, which is against the law, as cited by Connor in Bush's response of Nov. 19th.

If he cannot be sure what she wanted, he must err on the side of life. That's the law! There is no 'clear and convincing' evidence Terri ever said she PREFER to be starved and dehydrated to death if she ever became disabled!

Supercat, your example of a person saying "I wouldn't want to like like that" while passing a homeless person is perfect. No where in that statement of distaste for a situation is there any implication the speaker is saying they would rather be DEAD - "Please kill me if I ever become homeless" - no, this will never pass muster in front of a jury. MS is a fraud! His atty is fascinated with death and killing. They are both sick.
