Psalm 119

113I hate the double-minded,
        But I love Your law.
        114You are my hiding place and my shield;
        I hope in Your word.
        115Depart from me, you evildoers,
        For I will keep the commandments of my God!
        116Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live;
        And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
        117Hold me up, and I shall be safe,
        And I shall observe Your statutes continually.

I am praising the Lord that he held up our President and First Lady and kept them safe on this journey. Thank you, Lord!

****I just said, sorry, I'm voting for Bush. ***

How polite! I think I'd have said something like that wiht a few expletives thrown in. It wouldn't have mattered to him, tho--he'd just have hit you up for more. Did you add a few other advertisements to the envelope so it went to them Postage Due?

I think they both could sense the genuineness of each other and hence what appears to be mutual admiration in these pics. It would not surprise me to see a visit by the Queen next year perhaps even to Crawford although the election campaign might prevent that until the second term.

I agree....I wish she'd visit before the election...but I'm sure such a trip requires long term planning.

I also recall reading somewhere that the Bushes and QE2 are very distant cousins.

I am glad that was meaningful to you, patti. Someone said that to me during a time when I was under a lot of stress and it really helped me so I thought I would pass it on.

God bless you, dear one! We will be lifting you up in prayer!

I'm almost afraid to ask what he was soliciting.

Sorry, I couldn't resist! Absolutely no reflection on you but a reflection of just what I think of him.

The obvious place to invite the Queen to would be the Kentucky Derby. I don't know if she has ever been to it although she does visit Kentucky on occasion as a private person to stock her personal racing stable so she is quite familiar with the state. It's usually in early May. Perhaps that is a time she has commitments in the UK.

Many people do not realize that the protestors in London account for less than 1% of the population and that 62% of the people polled welcome President Bush and believe we are a force for good. How many of us, (If Polled) would say the same about Great Britain? Many Americans would say they don't trust Monarchy's and I seriously doubt a majority of Americans could even explain how a Monarchy works.

These Poll's are conducted in the same fashion the NEWS is delivered.....(Slanted to the left)

What I have gained from this weeks visit to London by our President is this......

The Terrorist have made a big mistake, if anyone thinks George W. Bush or Tony Blair are going to retreat in the face of this challenge, THEY ARE FOOLS.

We have a President who is truly a great leader, I dare say, like no other we have ever seen. I'm a grown man, a Grandfather who witnessed what this country went through during the Vietnam War. I watched my Cousin (Who was more like a brother) come home from that war severely injured and saw first hand how these leftist protestors treated him upon his return, and later by our Government, and I was ashamed to think how this great country could treat such brave young men. Those days scarred me for life and I made a promise to myself that for as long as I live I will donate my time and money helping our disabled Vets and our Soldiers.

Ronald Reagan took that shame away and I absolutely love that man like a father. I believe I will shed more tears when Ronnie passes away than I did for my own fathers passing, because of how that man made me believe in this country. I believe Ronald Reagan did the same thing for George W. Bush and I truly believe George W. Bush has been passed the Baton from Reagan.

I am totally confident that this President will succeed in this War because of his steadfast convictions and sense of purpose. George W. Bush believes that God is not neutral between good and evil and so do I. This past weeks visit to London will be looked back on as the time when the world saw plainly what we are up against, and President Bush's speech in London's White Hall Palace on the 18th day on November 2003 will be credited for this awakening.

That Speech on Wednesday by President Bush was nothing short of history making and this is the beginning of the end for these murderous thugs. George W. Bush will go down in history as "Freedom's Defender", "Liberty's Champion" or what ever slogan that can be bestowed upon him, because in the face of all the easy ways to handle 9/11, George W. Bush decided that instead of dealing with the crime at hand, he decided to change the world. When history is written, just like Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush will be in the company of the greatest ever to be hailed as the President of the United States. Mark my words

That Mrs. Bush is quite lovely, isn't she. She beats Jackie Kennedy all to snot

After seeing a couple of the endless stories about 'Camelot' that have been shown over the last couple of days, I realized why Laura is so much more beautiful than Jackie. Jackie always seemed to be striving to be a 'fashion maven'. Laura just seems to like clothes that are classic and comfortable, and if they're beautiful, that's a bonus. Another major thing is that Jackie always looked as though everyone else was 'below' her, and that is something that Laura definitely DOES NOT do!

Wonderful essay that you posted Mike.

My husband was a Vietnam vet as well, and I hate the way they were treated. I'm trying to make it up to him.

I agree with you on Ronald Reagan. I get on the internet with dread, thinking that he might pass soon. I am going to be very upset when he does. I wish there were some way to make his final days better for him.
