The "Soldier's Salute" really gets to me.
Son will be there (barring minor and major miracles) in Feb.
That's somebody's son.
IT'S THE SOLDIER
It's the soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the
PRESS.
It's the soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of
SPEECH.
It's the soldier, not the campus
ORGANIZER,
Who has given us the freedom to
DEMONSTRATE
It's the soldier, not the lawyer,
Who has given us the right to a
FAIR TRIAL.
It's the soldier who salutes the flag,
Serves under the flag
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who gives the protester the right to burn the flag.

"Try Telling Him It's Not 'Under God'"
Thanks for the compliment.
I thought of a good variant:
"No, YOU Tell Him It's Not 'Under God'"
that's about the best way I could get a printed message to almost capture the
quivering voice of some little pansy university-liberal declining their self-appointed
duty to squash The Most High from every vestige of this nation under G-d.
Feel free to pass 'em (captions) along...
just let me know how the audience likes 'em, if you please.

Thanks for the ping to that picture. It is truly awesome. These are some of the best pictures I have ever seen, and I feel privileged to see our troops through these lenses.

Check out the picture in #11. Looks like there is at least two M14's with that crew...an M21 in the foreground ?

Thank You!
This is one of the best threads here in quite a while. These pictures bring home how lucky we are to have such brave soldiers defending our freedom. As President Bush has said... "America is grateful that Liberty has found such brave defenders"
God Bless Our Troops
