You just reminded me of one landmark episode in television that outraged the
the viewing public...the MASH episode in which the lovable, bumbling camp commander
is shot down and killed on his trip back to the USA.
I'm actually complimenting you. You just about did the same thing to me just now...
I was bustin' a gut over post #33, and then you took me right back down with
the last photo in post #35.

the photographer (I can't remember her name) from back in the 1930's in the dust bowl out west.
I'm probably off-target, but I think her name was Dorothea Lange.
Even if I got that wrong, I do remember reading that the mother in her famous photo
did have a life that was just about as depressing as the photo...
