This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

I know we're all getting tired, but we have to hang in there. This isn't just Terri's fight anymore. It is our fight too. To everyone who has worked tirelessly to gather information, write letters, make phone calls, spend time in prayer, be at the vigil supporting Terri's family and all the many other offerings you have given for this effort, thank you and may the Lord richly bless you.

IMO, felos controlled the local media from DAY ONE. But surprise, surprise! Felos had no control over the internet, the creator's syndicate, worldnetdaily.com, Fox News, Coast to Coast, freerepublic.com and THE WORLDWIDE EFFORT of over 19 disability groups, short wave radio, Christian Orgs, Constitutional Orgs, etc. who joined with us THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE A MURDER IF SOMEBODY DIDN'T DO SOMETHING!!!!

Check messages again. Only the names are were not public. The names were discussed from the standpoint of wanting to know what they are. That's very possible. All else discussed was public.

"Everytime someone on this thread makes a statement about Terri's condition, and then in a subsequent post someone else says that the family doesn't have access to her medical records, I always think, "THEN HOW IS IT THAT WE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HER MEDICAL CONDITION?""

It's because certain of the doctors' written medical records are what they don't have access to - and that's not the same as getting ongoing updates on her current condition.

I wasn't making excuses for them but only pointing out how caotic it might have been. I would guess that there were some that wanted to help but weren't sure who to listen to. If I was handed a piece of paper with a governors signature I might want to check it out too. This is a normal human reaction but in Terris case she was running out of time. I was just saying these were the people I was least upset with. What took her so long to get there anyway? Did the hospital ER even know she was arriving or did she just show up? Lot's of questions. You understand what I'm talking about though?

Not any that had first hand knowlege or on hands experience. Sure, there were many who tried to express an opinion and were allowed to file briefs. Some seventeen or so filed amicus briefs, most through activist groups and many from out of state. I believe that they were deemed not relevant, and further, the Schlinders' did not raise this on appeal. I do know that even Dr. Hammesfahr, Shindlers' expert, would not state that he could restore Terri's cognative functions and agreed that Terri's cerebral cortex was irreparably damaged as did their second expert Dr. Maxfield.

And since MS has remember only recently, within the last few years that Terri did not want artifical means used to keep her alive.... hmmmm on that one.....don't you find it INTERESTING that she has been living in hell and managed to survive for so long--no comforts, no therapy, no stimulation, no TV, no music, no gifts, no flowers and no outings into the sunshine...by golly.....this girl has gone thru a living hell and it is a WONDER that she has hung on...much to the detriment of MS's hopes and dreams.

If she WAS PVS---why all the fuss the first three years while MS was trying to get rehabilitation money?

I am working on the birthday gretting billboard idea. I just contacted someone with many BIG resources to ask them to help us out. I will keep you updated. I know these peopel fight for life...so they may be interested. If anyone has any idea of greetings freepmail me. I think cindydawg had a great idea and I would like to see it come true ,as well as give the media something to talk about on her birthday!
