This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

Just a FYI to any newbies or any of us "oldies" that maybe never realized this, but at the bottom of each post is a menu bar that says Post Reply | Private Reply |To (some number) | View Replys | Report Abuse. The To (some number) is the post that is being replied to, and if you click on it, it will take you back to that post so that you can read it, then if you click the "back" arrow on your browser, it will take you right back to where you left off in the thread. Just thought this might be helpful to some people.

If I'm not mistaken (but I could be), Jodi's Michael Schiavo is Michael R. Schiavo, not Michael A. Therefore, any of the docs with Michael A. which include Dominic are talking about a different Michael Schiavo. Poor guy probably gets a lot of hate mail, wouldn't you think?

It's a dangerous abuse of power alright, but it isn't the lawmakers and the governor who are abusing it.

I am coming to the thread very late but have been following this story since long before it became well-known. While I sympathize with Terri's parents I do not welcome the entrance of government into this. This decision should be left to patient's families in consultation with physicians, not to politicians with agendas on both sides. Maybe the right decision will be made this time, but other times will come and the government will eventually screw it up.

"Our" Michael Schiavo's middle name is Richard. This record is for Michael A. Schiavo. I don't think Dominic Schiavo has any connection. Just want to make sure we don't go too far afield in our searches.
