The whole half of California is under smoke and this idiot thinks more paperwork is needed!

Welcome to the federal government - it runs on paperwork.

I heard it as Running Bear not Big Bear being evacuated. They were telling people to take the route into Big Bear and then take Rt 38 down to Redlands

Oh my God, my friend from Descanco just called, they have evacuated from Descanso with their horses and dog. They are staying off Highway 8, Buckman Springs Rd. Tulloch (local resident) has a meadow there and they have camped there. He was most grateful to hear your report about the USFS at the north end of town. He was in tears knowing that we all care and hold him and his family in our prayers. Thank you my freeper friend!

When the dust settles... I mean embers settle. The good people of CA are going to have to do some housekeeping. The wackos need to be neutered.

I listened to Dufus for about three minutes and couldn't take anymore. What a jerk! Cannot believe he waited so long to ask for help!

The wind is dead calm right now. It's the best chance for the FF to knock it down now. Where's the aerial waterbombing resource??? It's just heart-breaking...

Can you believe these two men were going along flicking matches into such dry brush that started the San Bernardino fire. Maybe they should bring back the gallows and hang these two -- might make a bigger impression on any other arsonist.

Simi Valley fire is also arson

I have noted that whenever President Bush is home at his ranch in Crawford the media never fails to show him in old levis and an old shirt out working on his ranch clearing out dead brush.

Setting an example! Unfortunately few people care to listen...

"According to news reports, at least one of the fires allegedly was started by a hunter who was lost."

That news report I will never believe!
