I have noted that whenever President Bush is home at his ranch in Crawford the media never fails to show him in old levis and an old shirt out working on his ranch clearing out dead brush.

Absolutely! Unfortunately, a lot of other people really don't see the point of clearing brush so diligently, because fire is their friend. It's nature's way. What they don't understand is that mother nature has caused the extinction of more species than mankind ever has, but that's because the brainwashing took. IMO, many complacant people are really do not understand why this has happened. Nor will they understand how hard it is to fight fires of such magnitude.
