Horrors
They will not allow it.
Tube in tube out tube in tube out tube in and then out again??
What absolute kaos.
God is not the Author of confusion, as the bible says..Who will bring true order here?
I do not think they will pull that tube again. Ever. Until she eats on her own.

"Maybe Nightline jus dressed someone in a clerical collar." Are you suggesting that CNN would be dishonest about something like that? I am just shocked that you have so little faith in the reporting of the facts. < /sarcasm >

...if you were told you were going to be in a vegetable state starting tomorrow...for at least 10 years...would you really like to 'live' in that state? My bet is that 90 percent of the population would say no. Terri is not in a "vegetable" state. She is conscious - she is aware of things and people around here. There is an internal life that humans have - their thoughts, feelings, and spirit. How can you assume that she is a vegetable? A carrot? Cauliflower?
A vegetable state simply is not an electable choice for most of us.
Again, this use of the word "vegetable" is just so much prop-speak. She is disabled, and many people are disabled. Obviously no one would choose to become disabled. Are you saying that just because people would not choose to become disabled, that once someone, by accident or someone else's design, becomes disabled, they should be killed?
And the icing on the cake...is the continued day after day bills going to someone...either to the insurance company, the state, the family, etc. Just add up 20 more years of maintaining her in a vegetable state.
Again, you cling to this "vegetable" idea. First of all, she is not in a coma, which you know. And EVEN people in comas can often hear. I have a dear friend who I have written about on FR who was in a coma on total life support for weeks, who was not supposed to live. He is now alive and a changed man. Second of all, the money thing is in this case, not the issue. If you have read ANYTHING AT ALL about this situation you know that her so-called husband spent hundreds of thousands of dollars that were meant for her care, all on efforts to kill her. And her parents want to care for her on their own dime.
We all want to live real lives...productive lives...and none of us care for permanent situation like this.
Speak for yourself. You can kill yourself without any outside help (guns, rat poison, cliffs, starving yourself, etc) when you think you aren't productive enough. You have no right to judge when others aren't productive enough and thereby forefit their right to live. Your argument is the exact same argument used by Hitler and his minions. Exact, word for word. Non-productive, therefore non-persons.
Right at this minute, there are cloistered nuns, from the materialistic viewpoint, non-productive people, all they do is pray for the welfare of all people. Right now there are saints of many religions, praying and meditating for the welfare of all. In your viewpoint, they are non-productive.

Thanks for the press report. Felos is counting on kidney failure as per his comments in the Tampa Tribune and St. Pete Times. That might be wishful thinking on his part but none of Terri's doctors have been allowed to examine her and the family hasn't been advised of her condition. JUST FELOS DOCS. There were delays last night and we can thank Marshall from DC for contacting the Hospital last night.
If anyone wants to pray for Terri, we can't stop now.

and said the governors order could just make her suffer more before dying. Felos assured us she wouldn't feel anything. Is he changing his mind now?

"I am Episcopalian.....we all have individuals in our faith for which we feel a need to apologize" Yeah, same here, and I can tell you that I am not feeling any too comfortable with I have been seeing happening to my church...for as long as it continues to be so, at least officially.

Don't argue with these people over and over. They never check it out, they never actually let anything happen that will change their minds, and they love punching our buttons. They just won't see that this isn't a right-to-die-of-terminal-vegetable. The ways that this case is so different from that scenario are not interesting to them.

Thanks for the hug. The situation is very fluid. We are only reporting what we hear per the news or from the official web site. FV confirms before posting. The rumor mill is out there which exists in any news story.
It really feels funny to be inside today.

Hope you will have a chance to get some rest soon. I know you must be tired. Your reports have been invaluable here. There have been so many Terri threads and so many pings over the past few days that it has been virtually impossible to keep up with them all.

About the church denominations..
You know from what the bible says, that there are no religions in the Kingdom of God or in Heaven. You either belong to Jesus Christ because you've trusted him with your life, or you refuse Him. The true church are those who belong to Him..His body..the bible calls us...
Revelations says "At the judgement seat, many will come to Me saying..'Lord Lord, look what I did for you, I fed the hungry, healed the sick, cast out demons ect..' and the Lord will say "Depart from Me you who work iniquity..for I never KNEW you"
A denomination can fall away from the path...they do all the time...it's individuals that make up the Body of Christ...it's us...the people..who He loves and chose and who come from all walks of life to Him. That's good, isn't it? Sorry about the religious rant..but remember...Jesus was not Catholic, Lutheran or Methodist..ect..He was JEWISH. And so were the writers of the New Testiment. I pray that all denominations will look to and seek God, because God has His people planted everywhere. :)

"Then there was a quote about how he claimed that he almost crashed a commercial airline on which he was a passenger just by imagining it was crashing." Sounds like Felos fancies himself to be rather godlike, doesn't it? Hard to believe there are people that messed up being allowed to roam the streets, let alone being allowed to have power over the lives and welfare of others. But then, there are the Clintons, so I guess that is a rather silly remark on my part.

Well, this is about the truth and I have nothing to gain by doing a lot of posts that are rumor/hearsay because this is exasperating for people nearby and people trying to help from FR. Pray that a few well placed phone calls have already helped Terri.

"It's like Superman. Superman steps in and saves the day and then he changes back into Clark Kent." Jesus or Governor Bush? Hehe... We're all exhausted here but still praying. I won't rest until I know that Terri is improving and has been given back to her family who love her.
