UFO still puzzles 30 years later (Coyne Incident)

MANSFIELD -- Thirty years ago tonight, strange things were happening in the skies over north central Ohio.

A close encounter in Mansfield, that has since become known as "The Coyne Incident," is still raising eyebrows among believers and UFO investigators.

The Sci Fi channel is doing an expose on the Klecksburg Crash this Friday, October 25th at 8 PM EST. It's a fascinating case of a something falling out of the sky onto some Pennsylvania hick town. The army cordoned off the area, a reporter on the scene died, people were held at gunpoint, and an acorn shaped object under a tarp was then carted off on a flatbed truck.

UFO? To the witnesses who saw it fall, yes. To the Army? Perhaps a piece of Soviet space hardware. (my guess)

If they offer any degree of "proof" why are they not more widely known?
Why would aliens choose Mexico City of all places?

In other words, "I have not seen them, therefore, they have little evidentiary value."

The second question offers a great deal of insight into your mental processes. I suggest you study it well.

As to the third question, Mexico City is the largest city in the world. "But, but, it's Mexican!! Certainly if UFOs were to appear they would come to me." appears to be the subtext of your question.

Mexico City is the heart of the spanish speaking culture which will soon dominate the western hemisphere, both southern and northern.

Perhaps the swamp gas was particularly complex in it's formation that night?

Perhaps all the diversity of witnesses were members of an extended family from another dimension who'd somehow become SLIDERS into this one as disconnected individuals unknown to each other but who somehow managed to carry out a premeditated conspiracy/hoax just for the fun of it?

Your understanding of the field is out of date.

There ARE a lot of VERY hard-to-explain video tapes that have passed analysis at INDUSTRIAL LIGHT AND MAGIC and similar special effects studios.

AND

UFO's have persistently demonstrated:

1) knowledge of cameras from significant distances.
2) capacities to render them inoperable.

Try again.

And, if you wish to form such strong convictions--perhaps you'd be willing to FIRST engage in strong investigation first.

I didn't see any type of aircraft, so what I saw could have been something else, although it is very doubtful.

Actually, I am aware of a video that was analyzed by INDUSTRIAL LIGHT AND MAGIC and it scared the beejeebers out of me! If aliens really have light sabres like that, I think we're all doomed!
