Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

You are correct in the presence of His angels, ensuring a good outcome. In every step of this, without exception, the help provided has been "just right."

Whether physicians or nurses or whatever person involved, there has been a most positive interaction.
At all times was His hand seen, gently guiding things, and the prayers of those at The Finest definitely have been heard.

Thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness.

Actually, with the wonderful support from FRiends, it has been an ever so easy week.
There was not a single glitch, and it seemed as if everything was precision perfect; everyone helpful and explaining details, since they knew I'd worked in medicine...little things like telling me, although I would be sedated and quite unknowing, "We're going to use a special breathing tube that doesn't have as much of a chance of producing a gag reflex (not wanting to jar the surgical site)."

I was perfectly at ease.
In retrospect, it was almost as if they could not do enough to ensure a perfect script; and only God could effect that, guiding the events!!

I am in awe of His unlimited provisions....

While I cannot verify the time of his first appearance, it was long, long ago.
