I feel bad for that fan too. But you know, he'll probably come out of it okay. He'll get on some of the late-night talk shows and will be forever a quasi-celebrity like Joey Buttafucco or Tonya Harding. Always be reviled by many but somebody will always be around to offer him a few bucks for personal appearances. He could promote some auto dealership down in Tampa or he could do some mud wrestling.
Anway, I so badly wanted the Cubs to win tonight but if they do win, it will be one of the greatest Game 7 comebacks in history. There's still a chance that might happen...

And don't forget Boggs. That team had the best plate discipline. Used to drive pitchers crazy. The worst was Dave Magaden. Not that he fouled alot of balls off, Just after every pitch he would step out of the box and take 9 or 10 practice swings. It would take like 10 minutes just for him to get through an at bat. He would bore pitchers into giving him something to hit.
