FTA—— American Jews have lived in the most Jew-friendly, even Jew-honoring, country in history in that most Americans have been Christian.

In 1808, founding father John Adams wrote about the Jews:

“I will insist the Hebrews have (contributed) more to civilize men than any other nation. If I were an atheist and believed in blind eternal fate, I should still believe that fate had ordained the Jews to be the most essential instrument for civilizing the nations...”

But we don’t have a problem with the Buddhists or the Hindus, and they aren’t Christian. It’s only one polygamist cult which passes as a religion that doesn’t play nice with others, and I don’t mean the Fundamentalist Mormons. They get in trouble for incest, statutory rape, etc., but they aren’t shooting up shopping malls or blowing up airplanes.

I believe Dennis P is basically correct. I’ve heard Jewish workers and students wish outloud they had good Christians in their offices/schools they could appeal to to help get antisemitic discrimination off their backs. But the higher level positions were occupied, taken over by atheists or secular leftist types —- the very same sort of amoral people who are the racists/ antisemites causing the harms in the first place.

Good article. I like and respect Dennis Prager.

I’m always fascinated by Prager’s commentary on this subject. But he gets one thing wrong here in the process of quoting someone else who gets it wrong:

The late great Catholic theologian Michael Novak wrote that the roots of the doctrine that "all men are created equal lie in Judaism, carried around the world by Christians."

Novak was flat-out wrong about this. The spread of the Gospel among the Gentiles was distinctly Christian in nature, not a characteristic of Judaism. There is no “Chosen People” in Christianity, and the message of salvation for the entire human race is a Christian one, not a Jewish one. In fact, Judaism is rooted in its identity of exclusivity — which is why Jews generally don’t proselytize.

Prager might find it sobering to know that what he’s observing isn’t new. I’d suggest it’s just the latest manifestation of that epic point in history when the Jews stood before Pontius Pilate and chose Barabbas.

”We have no king but Caesar!”

The only inscription on the Liberty Bell is from the Hebrew Bible, specifically the Book of Leviticus, the third book of the Torah: "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants thereof."

Until 1800, you could not graduate from Harvard University without knowing Hebrew. The insignia of Yale University is in Hebrew, depicting the breastplate of the Jewish High Priest.

Many Israeli Jews have long believed that the more secular Israel is, the more secure Israel would be. Those Leftists no longer have a chance to a major player in the Knesset, but they still control Israel’s judiciary, permanent bureaucracy, school systems and colleges, and MSM, and they will kill Israel rather than give up their Deep State power. The consequences are easy to see.

They rolled the dice with the Soviet Union and came up bupkus, but that devious relationship worked because they transited Russia's grift and extracted their tax; now they roll the dice with the Confucians and they'll come up worse than they can possibly imagine, because China can be guaranteed to hit at least the major Jewish population centers of the US before being reigned in.

But then we'll have a new set of problems so it hardly matters either way, really...

. . the more secular American society is, the more secure their status.

Didn't work out so well in Communist Russia.

Supporting “Multiculturalism” probably didn’t help much either. Tons of brown people just see jews as a different type of White and hate them.

Secular Jews, secular Christians, and secular Muslims get along OK. It’s the religious ones that have problems with each other.

The Hindus seem to accept religious variety without demanding doctrinal purity. The Buddhists basically don’t care what others think. The Confucianists are more philosophical than religious.

The "Chosen People" have done such wonderful things for humanity.FACT.

But they have also done, pound for pound, THE most damaging self-inflicted wounds Judeo-Christian society has suffered.

Everywhere you look, there is a leftist Jew doing... something, and then they are complaining when they get blowback or merely suffer along with the rest of us. I am beginning to think the greatest trick the Devil played on humanity was writing some specific parts of the old testament that mention specific groups of people, i.e., the hint is in my first sentence.
