Rest assured that if theres a rumor that, in third grade, young Brett Kavanaugh yanked on the ponytails of the girl in the second row (war on women!), The New York Times, NBC News and phalanxes of their journalistic colleagues will be all over it.
Meanwhile, Rep. Beto ORourke had a pair of felony arrests in his mid-to-late 20s, including a reckless drunk-driving incident in which he crashed into a car and allegedly tried to flee from the scene. The cases appear to have mysteriously disappeared without serious prosecution, notwithstanding that ORourke continues to deny basic facts outlined in at least one police report.
So, what really happened? We dont know. See, ORourke is a Democrat.
ORourke appears to be quite the character, notwithstanding the medias indifference.
In the wee hours of the morn on Sept. 27, 1998, at age 26 (i.e., considerably older than Kavanaugh was at the time of his alleged misconduct), ORourke lost control of his car while speeding eastbound on route I-10 in El Paso. According to the police report, after he struck a truck, ORourkes Volvo careened through the center median and finally screeched to a halt facing eastbound on the westbound side. Police say that ORourke attempted to flee from the scene of the crash but was stopped by a witness who, simultaneously, had to warn oncoming traffic of the danger.
When he was ultimately apprehended, ORourke told police hed had only two beers. In reality, a breath test indicated a blood-alcohol level of 0.136, well above the 0.10 legal limit a fact police discovered after he slurred his words so badly he could barely be understood and could not pass simple walking tests....

I am in Texas and I will be voting for Cruz.
Good article by a good writer.
Anyone who lives in Texas and won’t needs to re-think their so-called “conservatism.”
What did you expect. The double standard is outrageous.
I am so sick of asshats like the third rate actor Samual Jackson saying stuff about Judge Kavanaugh when they do not know him or have any idea the kind of man he is. If you are a white guy then you are automatically deemed a privileged whitey. I hate the idea of judging someone based on skin color but these self ritous liberal communist are allowed to do it constantly and never get called racist.
So will wifey and I.
Good old Irish Bob, Robert Francis O’Rourke, who got off two felony arrests in his mid-20’s because his father was a judge. One of those was a hit and run DUI. What a POS, where is the main stream media? What else is in this reprobates past?
Is this going to help Cruz? I’m thinking a whole lot of people find it scary that unproved allegations (or even proven ones for that matter) about HS and college behavior can be used to destroy a person.
I read today that even if wacko Ms Ford is telling the truth, we’re getting wound up about a 36 year old misdemeanor with no complaint ever filed and a one year statute of limitations
for two minors.
Kavanaugh is an amazing man and if anything is just he will give us a fifth vote for decades to come.
So what’s new. The Demoncrats gave Bill Clinton, Al Franken, Sherrod Broen and Keith Ellison a pass. I guess it is because Democrats have no morals to begin with their actions are considered “the new normal” as they like to say.
By the time I got to the local Republican Office the Ted Cruz signs were gone. So I’m waiting for a new batch. Will be putting one up. I may just print up HUGE letters on my printer and tape them together on the windows of my house.
....unproved allegations...?????
These are NOT unproven allegations, against Robbie O’Rourke.
This is all recorded in EPPD reports.
Why would you defend socialist Robbie O’Rourke???
And, yes....this definitely helps Cruz. We Texans are sick and tired of Dems having an entirely DIFFERENT set of rules and laws, than conservatives/Republicans.
I was thinking about taping “SOCIALISM” over the word Senate, on Bobby O’Rourke bumper stickers....and putting them on my car, next to my Cruz sticker :-)
I’m referring to the false allegations against Kavanaugh. But you make a great point. It’s in direct contradiction to the slime Cruz is running against, without much press scrutiny about his misdeeds.
Wow, from the New York Post? Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
