CHARLEROI, Pa.Angela LeJohn is 49, has worked at a local energy company for nine years, and loves it. A registered Democrat, she never once voted for a Republican and never expected to entertain such a thoughtnot even in a local electionuntil this year.
The short of it is that I am looking at this election through self-preservation, she explained. I love my job, I love that I only live three miles from work, I love that who I work for contributes to a stable life, and I love that my community is holding on because of the trickle effect Lee Supply Companys impact has on the region.
LeJohn will vote for Donald Trump for president and for incumbent U.S. Senator Pat Toomey in November, she candidly admits, not because she loves either Republican candidate but because they have my back.(continued)

I think these folk aren’t being captured in the polls.
Let’s hope it’s contagious!
Reagan Democrats
they THINK they are supposed to be democrats, because their family always was.
I used to be democrat because I thought my father was - I had no reason why, until I first listened to Rush Limbaugh.
WHY CANT I GET A @#$@#$ING POLL ON NY!!!!????
NJ is 4 down. If we’re under 10, it’s possible!!!
Because they’re sick and tired of being sold down the river?
Revenge of the Rust Belt...
Good article from Salena Zito!!
Yes, there is something happening here.....
Hillary and friends are starting to panic!
They have Obama campaigning for her in PA today......
If we win PA, it’s GAME OVER for Hillary!
I was kind of the same way. I used to vote democrat. A buddy asked "why are you voting democrat? You don't believe any of the stuff they believe. You're really a republican". He was right. That was in 1992. By 1994, I was enthusiastically voting for the republican Contract With America.
Its been a while since I saw the internals but last poll that showed internals including those who refused to identify who they planned to vote for, about 17% of those claiming to be republican refused to say and about 10% of Democrats...
My guess is Trump will get most of both those groups and that’ equates to roughly 4-6% of the vote.
Obama is in Philadelphia today and Biden was in Philadelphia on Sunday. Someone is getting very nervous about the election.
Rust belt states in particular are going to find D’s voting for him.... They have been getting clobbered for decades by these crazy “free trade” deals.... working at walmart or target or home depot barely making ends meet when before they were working in factories that were closed....
I think Trump takes the Rust Belt big.
Obama and Biden can beg, but Black America is not coming to Hillary’s rescue this election.
“I think these folk arent being captured in the polls.”
Toward the end of the article, a political guy who studies polls basically said that. People who haven’t voted before aren’t being polled. Hehehe... Big-league (bigly?) surprise on Nov. 8.
What a vile woman . . . thought all the libs reading this story.
If it wasn’t for the Marcellus boom in W PA this area would be a disaster zone.
