Uh-Oh! Ted should have never made a spectacle of himself at the RNC, and maybe kept his promise to support the nominee because now, it seems, it has come back to bite him. The once extremely popular senator is no more than the lesser of the evils in his home state, in his senate race. At least that’s what the results of the latest in state poll show.

CBS/DFW reports that Texans are smarting a bit over the recent Cruz behavior and they’re letting him know it.

Sen. Ted Cruz won the Republican presidential primary in Texas with nearly 44 percent of the vote. But most voters now do not think very highly of the U.S. lawmaker, according to the latest KTVT-CBS 11/Dixie Strategies Poll numbers which were released on Thursday.

52% of people now view the senator as “Very Unfavorable” across all demographics.

IMO the REAL problem is that people don’t want to take the time to research and come to their own conclusions , but depend on someone else doing their thinking for them through endorsements. I personally do not care who endorses anyone. I make my own decisions and someone’s endorsements have nothing to do with my choice.

When the republican senator from the great state of Texas does not support the republican nominee for president then he going to have a problem with republican voters in Texas.

Cruz showed beyond any doubt that he is a liar and his word is no good. Not once but twice he pledged to support the GOP nominee who ever it was, he along with Kasick, Jeb and Carly lied. This Texan will not be voting Cruz in 2018 and I voted Cruz three times in 2012. Cruz and all the other #NeverTrumper can go to hell.

Lying Ted signed a pledge to support the GOP nominee no matter who the GOP nominee was. Lying Ted word is no good, most of us will not vote for a know liar that breaks his word. Cruz is finished in Texas.

I supported Cruz initially and sent money. However, I started having doubts about his truthfulness...what he did to Carson and what he said about Trump's 2nd amendment intentions...and switched to Trump before the primary election.

I think Cruz showed us why nobody, everywhere he has been, likes him. He is self-serving and I hope Perry or somebody runs against him.

I don’t think anyone will run against him in the primary. The rats are talking of sending up that clown Wendy Davis to run against him. He may break 65% of the vote if they do that.
