Donald Trump met with Sen. Ted Cruz on Capitol Hill Thursday -- the first meeting between the two former bitter campaign rivals since Cruz suspended his presidential campaign.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus was also in the meeting, according to sources. This was Trump's second trip to Capitol Hill in two months.
With less than two weeks before the Republican National Convention commences in Cleveland, Trump is looking to shore up support with the GOP's rank-and-file even as he faces backlash from members of his party. Some Republicans who are facing a tough re-election battle have chosen to skip the convention while others declined to meet with Trump this morning....

I have been hoping and praying for a Trump/Cruz ticket since the beginning. It would be an unstoppable ticket, and would set Cruz up quite nicely for 2024. The primary was indeed ugly, but these are two adult men who have bigger fish to fry than each other. I would love nothing more than to see the two of them put the primary behind them and come together for the good of the Nation. As good as some of the other names that are being kicked around for VP, this would be the best.

As long as these idiots continue to aide Hillary, they will be seen as the wannabe Democrats that they are.
When these people sided with the scum that attacked Trump supporters, when they aped language used by the leftist media against us, and when they tried to openly scam delegates to Cruz, then they get the scorn they deserve.
