Extending an olive branch to Bernie Sanders and his supporters, Hillary Clinton on Wednesday will announce a plan to make in-state public colleges and universities free for students from families who make less than $125,000 a year.
Sanders made free in-state tuition a core plank of his campaign for the Democratic nomination, and Clinton and Sanders discussed the issue in their meeting last month, according to a Clinton aide.
Clinton often mocked that plan from Sanders during the primary, saying she didn't want taxpayers to pay for Donald Trump's kids' education. Her plan includes an income cap Sanders' did not.
The announcement comes exactly a month after Clinton clinched the Democratic presidential nomination, and amid an ongoing struggle between supporters of both candidates over what should be included in the Democratic platform....

“Most”?
Families with incomes under $125,000.
And she’ll give you free room and board when she puts you in prison for thought crimes.
How obvious! She picking up the spoils from the Bernie “snoflakes” by buying their votes with the promise of free tuition.
If you think college is expensive now, just wait until it’s free.
And what about the rest of us? In fact, those who graduated or never went to college will be footing the bill for these brats.
“And shell give you free room and board when she puts you in prison for thought crimes.”......
It was made quite clear “Crooked Hitlary” won’t be needing those prison suits and cells.
Until you find out Santa Claus isn't real....
Heck, we're almost there now, just a little nudge......
College = 13-20th grade
Yeah, make $125,001 and you’re screwed.
Well, if she gets in the Taxpayers are screwed and the Snowflakes are paid off for their Votes.
I love how Politicians pick numbers out of thin air.
Minimum Wage $15. CAFE Standard 35 MPG.
Can I ask a stupid question?
How can the federal government or a president, somehow decree free college at state colleges and universities? The states run their colleges and universities. The states decide on levels of tuition for in state residents vs. Out of state.
So is the federal govenrment going to take over state colleges? How the heck will the somehow give free college unless they take over all these state cilleges?
Anybody who believes a single syllable out of her shriveled mouth needs their head examined.
Well of course. Requiring any of the younger generation to take a bus - or (shudder) walk to school - that's actually a form of microaggression.
Doesn’t matter what she ‘adopts’ she is finished:
“...and another one bites the dust...”
GO.TRUMP.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!
Good luck getting it thru Congress. Oh, wait...nevermind.
Good luck getting it thru Congress. Oh, wait...nevermind.
