GOP front-runner Donald Trump is leading Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in California, a new poll shows, one of the final primary contests before the Republicans head to the party's convention in July.
Trump is the pick of 39% likely Republican voters, while Cruz has the support of 32%, according to a poll from the Field Research Corporation in California. John Kasich is in third place at 18%, while 11% are undecided.
Cracks in GOP rank-and-file also are reflected in the poll, as nearly 4 in 10 California Republicans (38%) say they would be "dissatisfied" or "upset" if Trump became their party's nominee, and nearly as many (34%) say this about Cruz....

He’s Lyin’ Ted so they’ll know he’s Lyin’.
I think you’re correct
Trump might do that after he’s President for eight years.
Look who’s been leading California for months. That won’t change.
It wasn't my logic. I'm not the one saying that the voters are selecting anything. The electoral college doesn't use the popular vote. The Parties don't use the popular vote. They use a system where you have to get over half of the delegates. I'm good with that. It's called a Constitutional Republic. Get used to it.
A 7 point lead is nice, but does Trump now have a full slate of CA delegates? Does Trump have a ground game in each CA congressional district. Does Trump have that structure in every state? Trump needs to pay attention to the delegate count and tactical issues. Every. Single. Delegate. Matters.
you did not say Trump has 3%
my mistake.
I’m sure you said this.
Sorry, but it’s hard to discern the wish of the voters when Trump has won 3% of the eligible voters in the US.
The funniest thing ever to come out of Cruz’s mouth was today when he said trump should drop out of he doesn’t get 50 percent in his homestate of New York. Cruz either is arrogant or does not think. Cruz didn’t get 50 percent in his homestate. Why didn’t he drop out? He is silly.
