Heidi Cruz and former Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina spoke on behalf of Presidential candidate Ted Cruz in Fond du Lac Wednesday evening. Fiorina told the gathering Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has made his billions buying people like Hillary Clinton off. She says he won’t challenge the system or restore power. Heidi Cruz pushed her husband’s platform and promised national security is important and Isis is a top target. She says her husband was meant to run for president and is certain he can beat Hillary Clinton. Many people came to hear Cruz’s message, but one onlooker says she brought her young daughter to see an example of two strong women.
What will be really funny is watching you struggle with Cruz on the GOPe ticket in the general , if his GOPe masters put him on it ... we already know, you Cruzbots will blame the Trumpkins for the 48 state loss ...

Thanks for the link. I listened to Mrs. Cruz for four and half minutes. She speaks clearly. She also repeats that she “has been married 16 years, knows Ted better than anyone, knows he is principled, constitutional and will be the next president.” It just sounds so nice, doesn’t it?

I disagree. Trump is patriotic and believable. Cruz is smart and dishonest.

She joins her husband on stage sometimes, she does not go out and campaign for him. She does not raise money, make speeches, appear on her own.
She stays home and raises their son.

it becomes more important when Heidi makes it apparent that both she and Ted are running for office.
I think teaming up with Carly and creating a stand-alone PAC/nonprofit/whatever was a huge mistake.
Many voters are done with any semblance of power couples, especially ones that think they are “anointed kings and queens’

I really don’t think Trump is going to be able to pull off getting the nomination, particularly if it goes past 1st ballot. Very few delegates got as far as the Convention being crazy nasties.
Cruz? He was raised in firey national politics. He faced an almost equally nasty uncivil David Dewherst in the Senate race. Cruz kept on a Constitutionally conservative message and tucked his head down to brace the hits and in the end won in a landslide.
