WASHINGTON (AP) -- Former House Speaker John Boehner says he'd support his successor, Wisconsin's Paul Ryan for president if Republicans cannot nominate any candidate at their national convention this summer.

Boehner, who has endorsed John Kasich, tells the Futures Industry Association that if Republicans can't agree on the first ballot to nominate Donald Trump, Kasich or Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, he's "for none of the above."(continued)

If the GOPe pulls something like this, I think it’s timke for them to go the way of the Whigs. They will have outlived their usefulness. I know they’re holding the 2nd amendmnent hostage but I think we may need to take that battle to the next level.

You know, we're finally beginning to see what it looks like when the donor class discovers Trump well within their OODA loop, and they also realize they cannot throw money at it to make it go away.
