MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Speaking just six miles apart on Friday morning, Donald J. Trump and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas renewed their bitter personal feud, while their supporters echoed the candidates' language and themes - a sign that the bitterness between the two men has now seeped deeply into the feelings of voters.
Mr. Trump called Mr. Cruz "the biggest liar I've ever seen," a line he has been pushing all week. Trump supporters, some of whom said they had once considered supporting the Texas senator, largely agreed with Mr. Trump's harsh assessment.
"I'm very disappointed in Ted Cruz because of the way he's going after other opponents, and some of the things I don't think were actually fair," said Ken Ivey, a retired contractor who waited in line to hear Mr. Trump.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Cruz mocked Mr. Trump's vague generalities. "It's easy to say 'make America great again,' " he told supporters in a room overlooking the ocean. "Do you understand what made America great in the first place?"
An attendee, Mike Loebs, echoed his candidate, complaining of Mr. Trump, "He's all yadda yadda yadda."
"He has nothing specific," added Mr. Loebs, who retired after 30 years in the Navy. "I think he's a bully. If you don't agree with him, you're fat, dumb or ugly."(continued)

Come on you all . . . give it a break.
In my lifetime starting with JFK, Carter and Reagan et all, everyone saying they will bring there deep held religious belief system and jam it down the throats of the country. Never has happened. Too many checks for that to occur.
Too be sure, neither am I stranger to it. Many family members, mother side very much hard core penticostals as you described. Actually I found them very loving, great food and yes sometimes too judgemental. But all in all they make do in this world and contribute more to goodness than . . . well you know..
“Lots of pious Cruz supporters are vowing to stay home if Trump is the nominee.”
Very loud but not very large in number. On FR which is a very conservative site there are maybe 20 foaming-at-the-mouth cruznadians. Presented with the future reality of President Ho Chi Sanders, most of the more moderate cruz supporters will vote for the gop candidate in the end.
I’m not much of a fan of voting in the first place. If the rabid cruznadians think voting for someone other than their Precious to avoid President Ho Chi Bernie is too horrible to contemplate, then that’s their choice to make.
Keep in mind that the most rabid cruznadian controls essentially one vote: theirs. Most people choose to be sane.
I take it, you’re a Pulp Fiction fan? LOL.
Yup! Now thats funny. Glad a few around here can make fun and laugh.
One of my favs. Very powerful scene.
So they all think identically, eh? Way to tar such a large group of people with the same brush.
Those who speak/write as you do are the problem.
Not all, just certain extreme ones. Seen multiple self-described Cruz supporters saying as much in various threads.
I suspect most Cruz supporters recognize what’s at stake and will vote accordingly regardless of the eventual nominee.
Apologies for not qualifying my earlier statement better.
“Goldman Sachs.”
**********
Yeh Ted’s wife works for Goldman Sachs. But Donny Kardashian Trump owes money TO EVERY FRIGGIN’ BANK IN THE WORLD!!
So who’s bought and paid for again?
Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brotherâs keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee." Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction - 1994)
Same year (1994) James Woods makes a film with Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone. (The Specialist) James Woods character is trying to flush out Sylvester Stallone.
James Woods, delivers one of the most intense scene that I can remember. Might be my favorite. That scene . . . those words might describe that which is going on here at FR. ;
Now am sounding like my old man (God bless his soul) They do not make movies like they . . . blah blah blah. LOL
I’m for Cruz. I don’t hate Trump. I just think he’s insecure, narcissistic, and I don’t know where he really stands, because he has taken both sides of every issue in the past decade. He’s entertaining as can be though. And I still think he’s a better choice than any registered Demoncrat running.
I would love a Cruz/Trump ticket, but Trump’s ego would never accept 2nd position.
There are Trump supporters that respect other voter’s opinions and there are rabid Trump cultists that don’t. The rabid cultists aren’t very bright.
Is your wife a supporter or a member of the cult?
There are Trump supporters that respect other voterâs opinions and there are rabid Trump cultists that donât. The rabid cultists arenât very bright.
Fairly strong opinions tho...very strong. Not into name calling and the like tho.
Little sensitive because many Trump supporters are bright— (as I said PhD)just as many Cruz supporters are bright.
And then unfortunately, there are the rabid ones—on BOTH SIDES.
I know I’ve seen The Specialist but probably just once. I don’t remember much about it so I don’t know the scene you’re talking about.
It’s a good thing I saw Pulp Fiction before Tarantino exposed himself as a cop hater because I won’t watch anything else he does from here on out.
