MANCHESTER, N.H. - An internal poll conducted on Sunday suggests that Marco Rubio's fumbled debate performance has damaged his prospects heading into the New Hampshire primary.
The poll, conducted by the pro-John Kasich New Day for America Super PAC, shows Rubio plummeting to fourth place in the primary here, with 10 percent of the vote. Most of the polling conducted in the immediate days before the debate showed Rubio in second place.
The survey, which was based on phone calls to 500 likely voters (margin of error plus or minus 3 percent), was conducted Sunday, the day following the latest Republican debate. Rubio came under scathing attack from Chris Christie, who cast the first term Florida senator as too unready, ambitious, and superficial to occupy the Oval Office.....

Politico is supposedly talking about an "INTERNAL" poll and one taken AFTER the debate.
Denile is NOT a river in Egypt; it's the state you're in.
Yeah....real convincing as a “Christian” and a “Consistent Conservative”....NOT!
You were NEVER going to vote for Trump; not even if hell froze over.
Pull the other other; bozo.
So you’re cheering for Kasich and Bush?
So you strongly believe an internal poll, commissioned by Kasich people, coincidentally showing Kasich surging?
I will sign on to that.
Nor do I think that he'll win S.C.!
And I am basing all of the above on knowledge and people I know in various states; not on "feelings" nor on "hopes and dreams" !
A Kasich poll
See my post #27.
Kasich Super-Pac: Great NEWS! Our Candidate is only 20 behind Trump!
Kasich had the biggest smirk after the debate last night.
He knew Rubio blew it and he’s the one who’s going to pick up the establishment pieces.
What a mess!
Internal for the mailman’s son. To be taken with a grain of salt. Yeb! shouldn’t be in third place in any scenario.
I’ve been right on the cusp. I credit Donald for executive action (I start small businesses, I fit his type). I like Cruz for his intellectual constitutional consistency.
But what I’m seeing now is that trump and his followers have an attitude that if you don’t fall in line and believe Trump is God, you will be ridiculed as a nasty/ugly/lying,Goldman Sachs loving idiot.
I’m sorry, but I have no desire to live in a fascist state of the left OR right. I fully recognize Cruz has limits, but so does Trump. So when you guys go around acting like no one else has a place at the table, well then I find that repulsive.
Trump’s stance on ethanol, for example, is idiotic. Am I supposed to shut up about that just so your feelings aren’t hurt? Because trump knows best? I don’t think so.
“You were NEVER going to vote for Trump; not even if hell froze over.”
That is a flat out lie, typical of many of your bombastic lies. You can go to my Twitter feed and find numerous statements that I was for Trump, OR Cruz, or Trump/Cruz. That makes you a liar.
I have 30,000 Twitter followers, mainly because they know I try to give an informed and honest conservative viewpoint. So when you call me a liar, you are also calling my followers idiots.
Good luck pulling your crap on other people. I’ve been here since 1998 under various handles, I know a Don Morgan wannabe when I see one.
We share the same longevity here, along with the multiple handles. (This is my 2nd.)
I was originally a Cruz guy, until I started looking past the image that has been so carefully crafted for Ted. The votes didn’t, and still don’t make sense from him. And they never will.
On this forum, I find the vast majority of the ad hominem coming from the Cruz camp. The condescension is unbelievable from them. They are the ones who tell everyone that they are not Christian if they don’t support Ted, or that they are not true conservatives. That’s just plain bullshit, no
Matter how you spin it.
I’ve been through the purges here. I’ve read Jim’s comments very carefully on this subject whenever I’m in a thread with him, and if you were to do an actual tally of those who have been zotted lately, the bulk have been Cruz supporters. Why? For the attacks and the attitude. Nearly every Trump supporter would vote for Cruz if he were the nominee - but the opposite is not true for Cruz supporters.
How many more of these debates did Reince allow himself to be talked into?
Not sure how pointing out Ted Cruz’s position in the New Hampshire primary poll is a personal attack, but if you think it is I don’t know what to say.
About one per week, it would seem.
I really want to see someone with a history of respecting the 2A as AG.
Christie has come around to giving it lip service, but has a history of hostility, which disqualifies him.
I commend your thinking style where facts inform opinion rather than dogmatically sticking with an opinion and contorting facts to fit with opinion no matter what. The idea that if a certain person does something it is
good and if someone else does the same thing it is bad is so stupid.
