Close!
If Trump takes Iowa he will win the nomination easily. If Cruz takes Iowa the battle continues.
Yes, Iowa is the only state where Cruz is close. Because he has spent most effort in Iowa and has the advantage of 56% majority of caucus goers being evangelical Christians.
Most other states Cruz is behind by double digits.
Cruz will likely start fading. That was just not ok going after a whole state that has tons of conservatives (like all places). It was dumb and one more thing. Whether or not you agree with Cruz in substance regarding the NY thing, the “values” stuff is very tired in 2016. Old holdover word from the Bush 41 days. Need new language around it Mr. Cruz. He kind of lost me last night because that was really dumb.
Put it another way, if Rafael loses to Donald in Iowa, he has slim to none chance of winning nomination. GOPe & RNC will not help either Cruz or Trump at the convention in July.
He topped that by pushing for 500% expansion of cheap foreign workers.

And then facilitated passage of Obamatrade!

I agree about Ted’s “New York values” statement. I was what I call a foot bullet. The bang was real impressive, but he lost some toes.

It was...
Well, good for Ted, but you know how this works. If Ted loses three of the first four primary states, which he's likely to do, he's done.
There'll be no coming back from that loss of momentum.
Trump didn’t sleep last night but had an early rally in Iowa after a greet and meet at coffee shop. Later there was a training workshop for new caucus attendees. Trump treated them to the movies. 13 hours. So many they needed an additional room
Good use of “advertising” Money he has not spent yet under budget again!
I totally agree. he lost me over just such things and his seemingly easy facility to avoid the truth.
I agree that Iowa is a must win for Ted. But it’s also a must win for Donald. If he loses its a big hit in his brand and shows he’s vulnerable. Winning New Hampshire will not be a plus in the south. It will make South Carolina much closer. A loss in SC is the end Trump, but not Cruz.
I just saw the movie - really good and it makes you furious.
Obama and Hillary need to be cell mates.
From Freeper space to Gods ear
1. Ubiquitous begging for money because he was desperate, never mentioning the $20 million goal
2. The "back room" assurances to deep pocket donors
3. The "New York" comments sound an awful like Romney's 47%, in the other direction.
4. Those Goldman Sachs loans. They don't come without an IOU
I'm beginning to wonder who Ted Cruz really is.
I hope Trump pulls it off. We need him as our President. He is the only one strong enough to fix our country.
God Bless both of you. You are right cells big time.
