When Hillary Rodham’s high school government teacher in Park Ridge, Ill., insisted she play the role of Lyndon B. Johnson in a mock debate of the 1964 presidential election, she protested.
Ms. Rodham, one of the school’s standout debaters, was a proud Barry Goldwater supporter (she wore a hat with an “AuH2O” logo) and an active member of the Young Republicans. But the teacher, Jerry Baker, was intent on challenging her to argue the other side.
Always a dutiful student, she agreed, settling into the library to pore for hours over Johnson’s positions on civil rights, foreign policy and health care. She prepared with such ardor and delivered such a compelling case that she even convinced herself. By the time Ms. Rodham graduated from college, she was a Democrat....

IIRC it was a debate with Rick Lazio running for the Senate in NY for 1998? She "won" that debate because he made the mistake of walking over to her podium and "threatening" her with his posture and demeanor I guess. Anyway, the media all decided the weak little woman was getting bullied and jumped on him. Weak little woman in need of protection - Ha! Reminds me of the hypocrisy of the media. Al Gore did the same thing to Bush in one debate - walked over like the taller Alpha male and seemed like he was gonna hike up his leg and spray Bush. Bush looked over at him unafraid with this "who the hell do you think you are" look and nodded to him and went on talking. Asswipe Gore tried to look Alpha walking back to his podium, but never quite pulled it off.
I doubt that. Now if Cruz is the nominee and she wins the Democratic nod, I’ll bet you $10 she’ll refuse to debate him.

I think its another lie put out by the Clinton propaganda machine or by HRC herself. The support of Goldwater in high schools and college barely registered. Another feel good story of Hillary seeing the light.

I’m not so sure about that. Most of the others (save Cruz) would respectfully defer to her awesome status of former FL, Senator and SoS - I’m positive about that. That’s how she pulls of the crap she does, knowing they fear her coupled with the support media and her ghouls give (gave) her.
Trump won’t mince words - about Benghazi, about emails, about anything - all she’ll be able to do is pull out her same old lies (if she can remember them all). If anything, I think what he’ll do is piss her off so bad she gets angry and forgets the kabuki script. At least I hope that’s what happens.
As for Cruz - her schtick won’t work either. In a one-one match up, he would eviscerate her, IMO.
Cruz would mop the floor with her but but Trump wiil, almost guaranteed, screw up his facts and make a fool out of himself. Everyone knows this but wont say it.....

Well, probably....won’t argue about what command of the facts he’ll have. But I can also be cognizant that Hillary has no ‘facts’ either. Only badly warped interpretations and outright lies. My guess is that both of them will try to stay away from facts altogether.
Yep, lying, disseminating, pandering, holding no core values other than the pursuit of her own power...
Who couldn’t do well in a debate taking the conservative side? No surprise there.
Of course, remembering that this is the DEMOCRAT primary debate, it won’t hurt that the questions will be along the lines of:
“Ms Clinton, do you love your mother more than the other candidates here love their mothers?”
yep....one can only imagine who the moderator will be....another strike against Trump.
