On 4/23/2007, Jim Robinson posted a manifesto, "Giuliani as the GOP presidential nominee would be a dagger in the heart of the conservative movement" (and a knife in the back) . The thread was subtitled, "The only difference in a Liberal Rudy Giuliani and Liberal Hillary Clinton is the fact of which bathrooms they select to use and there are some who are willing to even question that.

That’s what happens when you play in somebody else’s sandbox. Sometimes you’re asked to take your ball and go home, sometimes they just tell you to leave your ball and go home.

That could be the case.
But all I know is that this s*itstorm seems to have started sometime last November when all of a sudden this core group of Cruz people decided that they had enough of we so-called “fake conservative” people supporting that evil “carnival barker” Trump, and went on a massive attack.
Prior the general mood was that everyone was either in support of both, for one or the other but friendly to each other because Jeb was getting stomped, or hoping that if Trump wins, that he would make Cruz the VP.
But apparently it was expected by November that Trump would have “imploded”. When that didnt happen, then the attacks came, and have not stopped since.
Who wants to know?
Are you feeling better about us Trumpsters now?
Trump is not the uniparty.
He is second best for destroying them.

This is a great thread for retrospection. Thanks. I am not a Trump guy but am glad he is in the race. I do get tired of some (not all) of the Trumpsters of FR.
Like all establishment candidates, a President Cruz does not have enough stamina or force of will to stand up to the cheap labor express.
He's busy fixing the quotation mark problem :-)

Having watched and supported Ted Cruz starting with his challenge to Dewhurst, and since then, learning of his actions as solicitor general of Texas, I agree.
Cruz is the real deal.
