JUDY WOODRUFF, PBS NEWSHOUR: I want to ask you both about something else that’s come up. And that is comments that Donald Trump, who announced a few days ago he’s running for president, has made about Mexicans.
And here’s a quote from Donald Trump. “I love the Mexican people, but you have people coming through the border that are from all over, and they are bad. I’m talking about people that are from all over that are killers and rapists.”
Big reaction, Mark, on the Republican side to this. What does this mean for the Republican field? The other candidates, are their comments appropriate, given what Donald Trump is saying?

I hate it that they twist what he's saying specifically about illegals, and presenting his words as though he's referring to all immigrants from Mexico.
We even had some girl from UT on the local radio going off on his comments and when questioned, said her parent were citizens.

I believe that simply securing the border and vigorously enforcing our already lax immigration laws would be the most conservative thing that has been done in DC in a very long time. It would be more than either President Bush did for the future of conservatism. If the next president does anything else after that, it would be a bonus.

Who besides Trump and Ann Coulter are talking about illegals? Specific questions about illegals and how they are destroying America. Not lame statements about “immigration reform” so Republicans don’t lose the “Hispanic vote.”
I read an article last night on Conservative Treehouse that referred to such Republicans as "Decepticons"

The GOP is the principal force in the institutions of America to further the mantra "Hardworking Immigrants", "Comprehensive Immigration Reform", "Human Dignity" etc.
They really don't care if it destroys them as a party or destroys the nation.

Us conservatives are against illegals pouring across the border and ending the sell out to foreign interests and lobbyists, we want Americans to have jobs not to keep sending our manufacturing to Mexico, china, India...etc. That is why Trump is gaining our support and your democrat talk is repulsive.

One of my criteria for GOP- nomination in 2016 is that they didn’t endorse Romney in 2012. You want a Romney endorser.
