After observing close-up the kind of headwinds her husband has met in Washington, D.C., and beyond, there is absolutely no indication that first lady Michelle Obama is looking to place her own name on any ballot. She has, in fact, said the opposite, although in his just-released book, Michelle Obama: A Life, veteran journalist Peter Slevin reports that she has always been a full partner in her husband’s political career. But it is significant that former first lady, U.S. Sen. and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has hired Michelle Obama’s former communications chief as Clinton enters her bid for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.
With approval ratings that have always surpassed her husband’s and ovations over everything from her Let’s Move! campaign to her Tonight Show dance-offs with host Jimmy Fallon, Obama’s image is one to envy and emulate.
According to reports, Clinton plans to go small in her campaign this time around, emphasizing personality and connection with voters.
If Obama followed Clinton’s path, from first lady to political candidate, she would start out with loads of goodwill....

Well, if she waits a while to run, we can be assured she won’t win. Grade schoolers, junior high schoolers and high schoolers all hate her for starving them in the name of ‘combating obesity’.

Exactly, it just never freakin ends- I’ve been saying this for 6 years now that practically every day I read or hear the news, something more outrageous and unbelievably insane than the day before happens or is said with this administration- and just when I thought it couldn’t possibly get much worse I find out she might run? All I can think is that God must have removed His blessing from the country because of how rapidly we’ve sunk into depravity and insanity- I have personally witnessed the downfall of this great nation of ours to a point where I’m not sure we can recover- It will be very hard to undo all the damage that has been done- and if the republicans try- the msm will eat them alive- they’ve already got their plans of attack all laid out for them

Many of those in high school who are being served her awful lunches will be of voting age in 20 months.
They might take a dim view of her running for president.

I prefer to take the view that God is testing us -- giving us enough rope to hang ourselves, and watching to see what we do with it.
I also prefer to take the view that America -CAN- recover her greatness, in spite of all the damage. I don't trust the Republicans to do it -- they're as bad as the Democrats in most ways, it's just a "UniParty" these days. I think it will be up to individuals and possibly a third part of patriots. It's tough, but it's more likely to succeed than the spineless bass-turds who populate our capitals these days.
I have hope. I trust in America and in God. And I keep my powder dry.

Agreed. With the mass invasion, largely unreported, from the south and the Kenyan shipping in jihadist “refugees” from God know where, and everything compromised beyond repair - we are in a very precarious place. What ever we have left that passes for “normal” - life as we used to know it - is being taken from us in huge swaths by the day. The Constitution is ignored, trod upon, and discarded daily in favor of mob rule. Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic is busy work. It’s not turning the ship.
