San Francisco activist Tom Steyers NextGen Climate Super PAC Monday announced the billionaire Democrat will wage a campaign to put Republicans on the hot seat about climate change and spend what it takes for an aggressive new high-tech war room to track and attack GOP candidates in 2016.
The program, based at the NextGen headquarters in the Financial District with satellite offices in Washington, D.C., and other cities aims to make climate change a top tier issue next year. It will focus its firepower on turning environmental concerns into a wedge issue, especially with young voters, Steyers lead strategist, Chris Lehane, said in a conference call Monday.
Lehane is a former Clinton White House spokesman and San Francisco strategist who has been dubbed the Master of Disaster for his expertise in ruthless political rapid response. He said the social-media-heavy Hot Seat effort will focus on Koch Republicans engaged in science denial starting Tuesday with Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who is expected to announce his 2016 bid for the White House Tuesday....

The phony partisan witchhunt continues.
That’s like being put on the “hot seat” to profess belief in the Tooth Fairy.
The Left is COMPLETELY unhinged.
Accept the Climate Change bullish*t and the democrats will win.
The warmunists deny a lot of science. Their faith that man's sin is killing Gaia holds firm.
Put Dems on the hot-seat with the social beliefs and their church beliefs.
He can’t ask Cruz, who will explain how ‘climate change’ is a way to snatch more money out of struggling American’s wallets.
Run through a list of their predictions and share them with voters “In the next 10 years, in the next 25 years, in our lifetime, etc.”. Then let the same voters know that each of those doomsdays came and went without the predicted end times.
Get stupid Republicans to say "See, see, I'm in favor of stopping global warming! Please don't attack me New York Times!" so the base gets pissed and the Rat eeks out a win.
OH, yes. Let’s do that.
Quiz them on evolution, sodomy, global warming...all of that will surely guarantee a Hitlery win.
"Watermelon"...green on the outside, red on the inside.
Death to Steyer! He’s a blight on American society.
I’m not sure where this is going, but it will take a lot more than name calling and third grade rhetoric to refute real science and scientists.
Just insist that the rules of science apply to this ongoing argument, and the screaming fanatics will be left speechless!
If the science is solid and impeccable, and cannot be refuted or questioned, kinda like GRAVITY, why would any of this need to be done??
Time to attack Tom Steyer personally just like they are doing with the Koch brothers. We need to use their tactics against them. Dig the dirt, put up the ads, go on the talk shows. attack, attack, attack.
They are trying the divide and win strategy that worked for Obama, well we can divide them too.
It should be good yuks to watch them try this on Cruz.
Too bad the GOP has no balls.
Just saying the “global warming” ( NOT ‘climate change”) is simply a leftist anti-capitalist lie—AND KEEPING IT UP—would work wonders.
Too bad.
the atmosphere has just 0.04% CO2 in it- Man is responsible for just 3.4% of that 0.04%
So the total amount of CO2 In the atmosphere due to man’s production is just 0.00137%
To defeat this whole ‘man is causing global climate change’ nonsense one just need to quote those scientific FACTS and ask the left how just 0.00137% of our atmosphere can possibly be trapp9ing enough heat, and then back radiating it, to cause temperatures to rise? And People like Ted NEED to start informing people that temperatures rise FIRST- decades before CO2 rises- therefore CO2 can’t possibly be causing temperatures to rise- the science doesn’t lie
He also needs to inform people temperatures have been flat for nearly 2 decades now DESPITE the FACT that CO2 production by man has increased- and ask the left how this is possible IF CO2 ‘causes climate change’?
Because it worked so well in the midterm elections.
Exactly. Sheesh. The “hot seat”. Pffft...
