I tried to warn them. In addition, back in 2012, after Marco Rubio was asked about the age of the earth, I provided conservative politicians (and others interested) a primer for answering some of the gotcha questions that most every conservative running for political office in the U.S. will inevitably face. It seems that Scott Walker or his staff need to spend more time on my website, or on American Thinker (one of the top conservative websites in America).
Byron York hopes Walker learned a valuable lesson. Silvio Canto at American Thinker doesnt care what Scott Walker (or Hillary Clinton) thinks about evolution and wants to pound on the guy asking these stupid questions. Jonah Goldberg, like I did, correctly points out that, the evolution question really isnt about evolution at all, and concludes that this incessant question deserves to be cessant.

Suggested answer: “It doesn’t matter how old the earth is.
What matters is how much time the earth has left and whether or not it’s long enough to pay off the debt run up by Preezy Obola and his fellow tax-and-spenders in Washington.”
Yep ... if you’re gonna run for a prominent office, you better be able to handle the “gotcha questions”.
What jobs qualify a person for better pay because they have I believe in evolution on their résumé?
I dont think that theres any conflict at all between science today and the scriptures. I think that we have misinterpreted the Scriptures many times and weve tried to make the Scriptures say things they werent meant to say, I think that we have made a mistake by thinking the Bible is a scientific book. The Bible is not a book of science. The Bible is a book of Redemption, and of course I accept the Creation story. I believe that God did create the universe. I believe that God created man, and whether it came by an evolutionary process and at a certain point He took this person or being and made him a living soul or not, does not change the fact that God did create man. whichever way God did it makes no difference as to what man is and mans relationship to God.

Answer as did Obama when queried about abortion: “As with President Obama when asked when he believes life begins, I find the claims of evolution above my pay grade”.
The real question—the one underneath all of this—is whether or not God exists.
But leftists don’t have enough confidence in their own ideology to speak about the real question, particularly in a political context.
So the real question is for democrat politicians: Do you believe in God?
I went to his piece and feel ripped off for clicking through.
It was not a good article.
That’s a good one!
I have a question for every democrat running at any level. Is islam a religion of peace?
Thank you.
I thought it was a good article, and the possible responses to the “gotcha” questions simple and easy to understand.
The writer mentioned a reply by Marc Rubio that I thought was good, too:
“What does my view on evolution got to do with the budget deficit?”
I am nor endorsing Rubio, but I did think that was a good shut down of a stupid, irrelevant question.
Given that it’s vain to try stuff logic down liberals’ throat, what Walker did say was perfectly fine and reflected adequate poise and confidence.
The bible says “Stop becoming many teachers.” We really do not need preening people lecturing us how morally wrong it was not to read one out of three billion websites in the world.
How did this foolhardy theory based upon daft speculation come to be believed by anyone? Which evolved first, muscles, bones, tendons or ligaments? The “reporter” would run for cover rather than trying to answer this. Bob
It only matters to the media and other Fundamental Darwinists.

This kind of reminds me of dealing with atheist friends when I identify as a Christian. It’s like they go through this diagnostic cycle asking me science questions and “what would you do if” questions. I just answer and kinda poke them for being presumptuous (treating me like a bug on a slide).
As long as you don’t believe anything too weird, humor and patience will get you past a lot (two actually converted).
Unless you are a Rat - it is always above their pay grade.
