Rick Santorum may have his faults as a potential presidential contender, but he is dead right about Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.): Do we really want someone with this little experience? And the only experience they have basically not [Sen. Marco] Rubio, but Cruz and Paul because I dont think Rubio is going to go is bomb throwing? Do we really want somebody whos a bomb thrower, with no track record of any accomplishments?
Cruz may suffer from a lack of consistency, an erratic foreign policy and a grossly inappropriate temperament, but he does, to his credit, understand that we are engaged in a war for our civilization. Not Paul, however.
Just days after the streets of Paris ran with blood, Pauls camp declares that he is going to New Hampshire to focus on guns and Common Core in the election. Really thats a presidential agenda? It is indicative of the negative and small-ball sort of issues that he focuses on, assuming that the base is so dim as to care most about these issues. As for guns, no one really imagines that the Second Amendment, which made it unscathed during six years of President Obama, is unscathed....

Why not? They elected a worse amateur twice.
We need a strict-constructionist conservative that can educate the country...Ted Cruise is one of the few possible solutions...that from one who thinks it is already way too late.
Rick, You ain’t the guy.
Support Cruz.
He knows how to fight.
You don’t.
I don’t like Sanatorum. He looks and acts smarmy. Women don’t like that. He has no charisma.
Yes, because Obama had such a deep resume.
Santorum has zero chance. How does a guy as boring as Santorum have the ego to think people will vote for him?
I would prefer a governor with at least a term and a half....who is currently serving. When did Jeb Bush, Rick Santorum, or Mitt Romney last hold office?
As for the senators, they usually get knocked out in the primaries. There is an obvious exception, but I don’t think the voters will make that sort of mistake again.
Santorum is always going after the conservatives in the field. It’s what he does. He dismantles them like the little scumbag that he is, and then he hands things off to the RINO because the little turd in the sweater vest is unelectable and only good for attacking others. I still remember when this scumbag was agreeing with others that we shouldn’t be “attacking conservatives,” and yet he was still running disgusting ads against Newt.
For those who haven’t read the article, it isn’t really about Santorum or Cruz. It’s about Rand Paul.
Amateurs built the Ark.
Professionals built the Titanic.
I rest my case.
Sick Sanatorium
Better a so-called amateur than a has-been.
Because he won Iowa...
Newt was GOP-E all the way. He was the one who told New York to vote for deedee Scozfava because she was a solid Republican, and then she endorsed her democrat opponent a few days later. And did you hear the tongue bath he gave Boehner on Hannity’s show? No way Newt!
Agreed. We need someone who has put in a term or two as a governor of a significant state to run. That does NOT include RINO’s Bush or Romney.
No problem with Santorum’s advice, which he should follow.
