But heres a surprise: Adam C. Smith, political editor of the liberal Tampa Bay Times, authored this piece last Friday refuting with evidence that Bush as governor was arch-conservative and far from a moderate squish. That was then; this is now. I will never vote for a candidate who will not define America's borders and protect them.

This is a guy who probably has as conservative a record as governor as anybody Ive ever seen, Weatherford said, and he has one of the most successful records as governor of anybody Ive ever seen.
Who the hell is he comparing him to? Jerry Frickin Brown???
Compare him to Bobby Jindal or Nikki Haley and Jeb LOOKS like Jerry Frickin Brown...

Bush may be a nice guy. He may be Conservative on some economic issues. But he is flagrantly "liberal" on immigration; careful to disassociate himself from Florida's conservative history; clearly accepting of the Federal moves to the Left under his brother's Presidency.
At a time when we need a President who will stand up for American tradition & continuity; he is clearly not the one.
By the way, has he ever repudiated his family support for the idea of a new "World Order?"

Jeb Bush is an open border crony in the back pockets of the chamber of communist!
I will NEVER support this RINO under any circumstance and I don't care if he is the only one standing after they (RINO corporate backers)rig the primaries!

Likewise, back when Gov. Bush was at the vanguard of pressing for greater education accountability and more private school vouchers virtually every conservative political figure was on the same page. Today, the Common Core education standards adopted by more than 40 states are widely vilified by Republican activistsUnless I'm confused, the opposition to CC is based on two things: fedgov isn't the right organization to control it, disagreement with implementation, not the idea of measurement.

The most important conservative principle is the God-given, unalienable nature of the individual, equal right to live.
Governor Bush showed no regard for that principle at the heart of his sworn oath when he stood idly by and let them torture Terri Schindler Schiavo to death.
So, as far as I’m concerned, Jeb Bush has in no way earned the honorable title of “conservative.”

No, he’s not an “arch-conservative,” but he’s definitely conservative. However, he has the fatal flaw of all the Bushes: he’s too gentlemanly to defend himself. He’s old style GOP conservative.
The Dems will walk all over him.
